I really enjoy going for walks at night. I'm always surprised I don't see more people at night.

It's usually so peaceful, and serene. As my eyes adjust to the night, I get to see the world through a unique lense.

I tend to do enjoy these night walks alone, though I have had those days. Where I yearned for a companion to share it with.

This particular night was especially quiet. Even the ocean seemed overcome with the peace. Having temporarily ceased to allow it's waves to sound.

I remember standing there, taking in the silence. Then looking over, and seeing my buddy lost in her own peace.

I know I was blessed to be able to step away, and simply enjoy a moment of peace. Having a friend to share it with, made it that much nicer.
