Here comes Friday and you know what that means – WWE Friday Night SmackDown is back tonight!
The VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida will be hosting the live broadcast of this episode. This episode is very crucial as it leads to the King and Queen of the Ring event scheduled for Saudi Arabia later this month.
Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul are going to have a big contract signing. They will make their Champion vs. Champion match official for the King and Queen of the Ring event. This is going to be amazing, I think. One of my favorite wrestlers ever, probably one of yours too: Cody Rhodes has been doing great since he returned to WWE. Logan Paul on his part has courted some controversy in his life before. You either love him or hate him; there's no two ways about it! Nevertheless, he’s been outstanding in the ring though. Their match leaves me wondering how it will play out? Undoubtedly, this contract signing may become intense at any moment. I’m sure we all know how these usually end; fighting!
In addition, we have some thrilling bouts in the King of the Ring tournament.
LA Knight will be up against Tama Tonga. He is extremely charismatic and loved by all fans. On his part, Tama Tonga is a hard nut to crack as he has a strong wrestling background from Japan. It could go either way but I’m team LA Knight because I think he deserves something big that can elevate him higher on the ladder.
Next: Randy Orton versus Carmelo Hayes. One of these two wrestlers is a living legend while the other one was crowned for nothing.
Randy Orton has been in WWE since forever and doesn’t need any introduction at this point. Conversely, Carmelo Hayes is an emerging talent from NXT who’s still quite young with lots of potentials ahead of him. This fight is going to be about experience versus youthfulness which are always great contrasts when it comes to wrestling storylines and matches. I believe because of experience Randy Orton will most likely win but maybe Hayes will surprise us all if he gets lucky.
Also happening tonight is The Queen of the Ring tournament continues today too which has Bianca Belair vs Tiffany Stratton among its many matches scheduled for the night. Bianca Belair possesses enormous athleticism and strength. She has been dominant in WWE’s women’s division. Tiffany Stratton may be somewhat fresh but she has shown enough skills through sheer promise. I do see Bianca winning this but knowing Tiffany Stratton; she won’t let her off so easily
Next is Jade Cargill vs. Nia Jax in another big match. This will be a clash of the titans. Every inch of her body screams “action figure.” She’s extremely fit and agile and she has not lost any fight ever since she started wrestling. Nia Jax is known for being strong-minded and experienced. This game is so unpredictable! Both are incredibly powerful, so it could go either way. But I am going with Jade Cargill mainly because recently no one has been able to stop her.
I’m also excited by what other surprises WWE has up its sleeve tonight… SmackDown has been on such a good run recently, I hope they can keep it up; there’s much to anticipate with the King and Queen of the Ring event coming.
Tonight’s SmackDown promises excitement. The contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul, plus some great contests in King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are part of it all… How it pans out is what I am looking forward to see next.
