Did you get to see last night’s NXT? It was quite a surprise to see Gallus back on the show after such a long time away. I always admired their straightforwardness so it felt good to have them make that kind of statement.
Joe, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang didn’t just come back to say “hi” – they made sure everyone knew they mean business by taking out Wes Lee, Ivar, and Josh Briggs. These three were all vying for a shot at the North American title so Gallus’ interference really shook things up.
So far it looks like next week’s episode will be even more explosive. With Wes Lee, Ivar and Josh Briggs going head to head in a three way match emotions are running high. And given Joe hinting that Gallus isn’t through yet, who knows what chaos they will bring into the ring.
I’m particularly eager about the women’s North American title qualifiers though: Jaida Parker versus Brinley Reece and Thea Hail against Fallon Henley - showdown is inevitable. Also there is also Natalya & Karmen Petrovic against Shayna Baszler & Lola Vice tag team match which has potential as well.
I see that there has been a lot of excitement in NXT since Gallus came back. The show’s intensity skyrocketed after their return with their hard-hitting style and no-nonsense attitude. I am eagerly waiting for the next thing they will do, which will surely cause huge changes in the world of NXT.
