Raw was on, and gosh darn it, it became intense! The supposed to be a friendly moment between Jey Uso and Gunther took place after the show turned out to be a big showdown.
Basically he was having a good time with the crowd; he had even got the ref involved in “YEET-off” antics. However, Gunther came from behind Jey and attacked him just like that! Like what the hell just happened.
However, I understand that they will soon meet in King of the Ring semi-finals but still this took me by total surprise. But then again, Jey struggled back with an epic spear through which the entire stadium went wild over. It’s like he flipped on Gunter pretty swiftly.
Afterwards I watched an interview with Jey where he talked about Bray Wyatt’s entrance and fireflies. This was quite sentimental if you ask me. He respects Bray so much because on his point of view these fireflies are an indication for them that Bray is protecting them all from above. That’s some deep shit my man.
He also mentioned his brother Jimmy, as well as their past experiences dealing with Gunther inside a wrestling ring. This makes things deeper for their upcoming match- there is more than just professional stuff going on there between them. It’s like, they have personal issues mixed up with their business lives too.
In general, it was an exciting experience to see all these things happen. From the fun YEET-off to the surprising assault and finally, Jey’s thoughts on Bray Wyatt, it was a mixture of feelings. I can’t wait for what comes next with the King Of The Ring tournament!
