El perfecto triángulo…
Exhausto, corro de regreso a casa después de un día agotador en la oficina. El cansancio pesa, y al llegar, lo primero que hago es entrar a la cocina. La sed me domina, anhelando un sorbo de agua fría, pero esta sensación se desvanece cuando algo captura mi atención en la penumbra de la habitación contigua: tres manzanas, dispuestas en un plato sobre la mesa del comedor.
Sus colores rojo intenso destacan en la oscuridad, formando un triángulo perfecto que emite un aura enigmática. Me acerco con cautela, sintiendo una extraña mezcla de intriga y temor. Las manzanas parecen más que simples frutas; parecen contener un mensaje, una advertencia silenciosa.
Mis ojos se posan en el plato, y lo que veo me hace contener el aliento. En su centro, grabada con precisión, hay una imagen perturbadora: un gusano retorcido, mostrando sus diminutas patas, sus ojos gigantescos proyectando una mirada retadora.
Una sensación de malestar me invade mientras observo la imagen, como si el gusano estuviera observándome con una energía sobrenatural.
Decido indagar más de cerca, pero justo cuando estoy a punto de tocar una de las manzanas, algo extraordinario sucede. El plato que contiene la imagen del gusano tiembla grotescamente, y el gusano cobra vida, retorciéndose y contorsionándose como si estuviera luchando por escapar del plato.
Un grito sale de mi garganta mientras retrocedo, horrorizado. El gusano, ahora más real que nunca, se enrosca alrededor de un pequeño madero cercano, proyecta sus ojos fijos en mí con una maldad palpable. Manipula sus diminutas patas, se abalanza sobre mí con una rapidez inesperada y me envuelve en un extraño telar viscoso.
Desde ese momento, todo ha cambiado. Ahora, me encuentro atrapado en el plato, convertido en la misma imagen perturbadora que antes observaba con horror. En esta prisión de cerámica veré a otros seres humanos acercándose al perfecto triángulo de manzanas, atraídos por sus enigmáticas presencias.
Soy incapaz de advertirle del peligro que les aguarda. Me muestro pintado en el plato, con una mirada retadora y ojos bien abiertos, como si supiera lo que le espera a quien se atreva a tocar las manzanas.
Porque así conseguiré oportunamente mi propia libertad…

The Perfect Triangle…
Exhausted, I run back home after a tiring day at the office. Weariness weighs heavy, and upon arrival, the first thing I do is enter the kitchen. Thirst dominates me, longing for a sip of cold water, but this sensation fades when something captures my attention in the dimness of the adjoining room: three apples, arranged on a plate on the dining table.
Their intense red colors stand out in the darkness, forming a perfect triangle emitting an enigmatic aura. I approach cautiously, feeling a strange mixture of intrigue and fear. The apples seem more than simple fruits; they seem to contain a message, a silent warning.
My eyes focus on the plate, and what I see makes me hold my breath. In its center, engraved with precision, there is a disturbing image: a twisted worm, showing its tiny legs, its gigantic eyes projecting a challenging gaze.
A sense of discomfort overwhelms me as I observe the image, as if the worm were staring at me with supernatural energy.
I decide to investigate closer, but just as I am about to touch one of the apples, something extraordinary happens. The plate containing the worm's image trembles grotesquely, and the worm comes to life, writhing and contorting as if struggling to escape the plate.
A scream escapes my throat as I recoil, horrified. The worm, now more real than ever, coils around a nearby small piece of wood, projecting its eyes fixedly on me with palpable malice. It manipulates its tiny legs, lunges at me with unexpected speed, and envelops me in a strange viscous web.
From that moment on, everything has changed. Now, I find myself trapped on the plate, turned into the same disturbing image I once observed with horror. In this ceramic prison, I watch as other human beings approach the perfect triangle of apples, drawn by their enigmatic presences.
I am unable to warn them of the danger that awaits. I am portrayed on the plate, with a challenging gaze and eyes wide open, as if I know what awaits anyone who dares to touch the apples.
Because that is how I will timely achieve my own freedom…
