The most beautiful garden I’ve ever seen in Italy (part 2) – Il giardino più bello che io abbia mai visitato in Italia (parte 2)

Hello dear Hivers,

This is the second part of my visit to the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, awarded in 2022 as "The most beautiful park in Italy". At this link you can read the information I have already written and see the first photos taken during the walk.

In spring, when the wisteria blooms, it must be a breathtaking sight, as there are 34 different varieties of this plant! For those who don't know, this botanical type produces flowers ranging from pink to purple, hanging and very resistant.

This park can boast of having the largest collection of Agapanthus in Europe, with 500 different species. These plants produce beautiful flowers that have shades from white to blue, passing through gray and light blue. Unfortunately, by the time of my visit they had already wilted.

The Mediterranean flora of the Villa della Pergola Gardens includes maritime pines, myrtles, carob trees, olive trees, almond trees, cypresses, cedars of Lebanon, holm oaks, citrus fruits, giant strelizia, diksonias, palms, and cacti from all latitudes.

In this post you can find some photos taken during my visit to the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, I hope you like them, let me know what you think!

See you soon,
Delilha

Ciao cari Hivers,

Ciao,
Delilha

Those are some incredible crisp looking plants 🪴
Great photography. But would be great if you could angle them differently to enhance the flower more than the background. But I absolutely agree that the flowers photographed is truly stunning and crisp.

Thank you for the good advise :) :)
