It's been a long time since I've written, I'm on Hive on a daily basis but the part about blogging is the one I use the least, but I decided to write this post in order to read it again in what I hope will be a better future.
Nothing incredibly dramatic, but the situation in the house where I live is definitely degenerating.
Premise
I live in a house in the city centre shared with three other people, it's me, my girlfriend and two other housemates.
I'm the oldest guest and I've been living here for more than 5 and a half years, it's a student house, 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen, nothing incredible.
Over the years there have been many housemates here, with some I've got on really well and made some great friends, others have moved in quietly and then....
Arthur
Arthur is a strange creature who appeared overnight inside our house, he arrived and we don't know how but he made everything change.
He demands cleaning shifts and has never once done them
He consumes basic necessities but does not buy them back
He decides to turn on the radiators at night completely at random when it is already 19 degrees in the house.
Constantly invites people into the house which at the moment is more reminiscent of an accommodation facility than anything else
he is rude, heavy and has unmanageable manners, he doesn't even know how to open doors as he slams them in the middle of the night and sometimes turns the house into a train station.
PUM PAM PUM, doors opening and closing, unbelievable shouting and so on and so forth.
He starts washing machines at ungodly hours with the spin-dryer running all night, and spends his days blissfully eating pesto pasta and watching Family Guy on YouTube.
This now for months h24 7/7.
This week I've decided that maybe it's time for me to go, I have far too high a demand on a house, I'd like it to be a place where you can feel calm, where you can rest, where you can eat knowing you're not in the middle of a motorway junction, where it's quiet at night, where you don't have to direct traffic to take a shower.
I had to make a decision.

Yesterday the situation became even more unmanageable, the number of people in the house was unspecified and there was a constant mess all night long....
Whereupon already halfway through the show I made a decision....
Probably one of the most painful decisions in life, but really I've come to a point of no return, and I'm convinced I'll be able to get it all back and with interest once I've completed my house-hunting and moved out.
The current contract requires months of notice before I can leave, but already today I am going to see a new home, in which I can have a fresh start, maybe get a small dog in the future and never have to live with a wild Arthur again.
Should you be interested in the continuation of this adventure I will keep you informed, at least here on Hive I can keep a diary of this story, a big hug to everyone.
è parecchio tempo che non scrivo, sono giornalmente presente su Hive ma la parte riguardante il fare blog è quella che utilizzo meno, ho deciso però di scrivere questo post per poterlo rileggere in quello che mi auguro sarà un futuro migliore.
Nulla di incredibilmente drammatico, ma la situazione nella casa in cui abito sta decisamente degenerando.
Premessa
Abito in una casa in centro citta condivisa con altre tre persone, siamo io, la mia fidanzata e altri due coinquilini.
Io sono l'ospite più anziano e abito qui dentro da più di 5 anni e mezzo, è una casa per studenti, 4 stanze da letto, un bagno e una cucina, nulla di incredibile.
Nel corso degli anni ci sono stati molti coinquilini qui, con alcuni mi sono trovato molto bene e sono nate delle bellissime amicizie, altri sono passati senza fare troppo rumore e poi....
Arthur
Arthur è una strana creatura che è comparsa da un giorno all'altro dentro casa nostra,è arrivato e non si in che modo ma ha fatto in modo tale che tutto cambiasse.
Richiede i turni delle pulizie e non li ha mai fatti una volta
Consuma i beni di prima necessità ma non li ricompra
Decide di accendere i termosifoni di notte completamente a caso quando in casa ci sono già 19 gradi.
Invita continuamente persone dentro casa che al momento ricorda più una struttura ricettiva che altro...
è maleducato, pesante e ha dei modi di fare ingestibili, non sa aprire nemmeno le porte visto come la sbatte in piena notte e qualche volta trasforma la casa in una stazione dei treni.
PUM PAM PUM, porte che si aprono e chiudono, urla incredibili e chi più ne ha più ne metta.
Fa partire lavatrici ad orari improponibili con la centrifuga che va tutta la notte, e passa la sua giornate beatamente a mangiare pasta al pesto e a guardare i Griffin su youtube.
Questo ormai da mesi h24 7/7.
Questa settimana ho deciso che forse per me è il caso di andare, ho delle pretese troppo alte nei confronti di una casa, mi piacerebbe che fosse un posto in cui sentirsi tranquilli, in cui potersi riposare, in cui poter mangiare sapendo di non essere in mezzo ad un raccordo autostradale, in cui di notte a un certo punto ci sia silenzio, in cui non bisogna dirigere il traffico per farsi una doccia.
Ho dovuto prendere una decisione.

Ieri la situazione è diventata ancora più ingestibile, il numero di persone in casa era imprecisato e c'è stato un casino costante per tutta la notte...
Al che già a metà dello Show ho preso una decisione...
Probabilmente una delle decisioni più sofferte in vita, ma davvero sono arrivato ad un punto di non ritorno, e sono convinto che potrò recuperare tutto e con gli interessi una volta conclusa la ricerca di una casa e una volta trasferito.
Il contratto attuale richiede dei mesi di preavviso per poter andare via, ma già oggi andrò a vedere una nuova casa, nella quale poter avere un nuovo inizio, magari prendere in futuro un cagnolino e non dover mai più vivere con un Arthur selvatico.
Se vi dovesse interessare la prosecuzione di questa avventura vi terrò informati, almeno qui su Hive posso tenere un diario di questa storia, un grande abbraccio a tutti.

Eh si, a volte bisogna passarci per forza e tocca tirarsi su le maniche, so solo che una volta concluso qui sarà davvero tutto molto più sereno,
Domani chiamo la mia proprietaria attuale e ci sarà sicuramente da discutere, e sicuramente racconterò della casa che abbiamo visto oggi e che è STUPENDA!

A Brescia per fortuna qualcosa si trova ancora, anche se non esattamente allo stesso budget che spendiamo qui per una stanza, però amen, ho raccattato su un pò di fondi apposta, la pace non ha prezzo!
Qui stiamo almeno a 500/600€ per un appartamento arrabbattato di 8mq con letto/angolo cottura/bagno tutto insieme nello stesso ambiente 😅
Noi abbiamo trovato un bel bilocale subito sopra alla metro, in totale sono 780 ma da dividere in due, più chiaramente tutte le spese, però è in un bel complesso e sono 70mq, ma sono città molto diverse le nostre e cambia davvero tantissimo

You're absolutely right that it's completely unfair, but here even talking to him things don't change and even get worse, the landlady is only interested in the economic aspect of having the rents paid and therefore there is no alternative, also because in order to wage war against him I need a resource that I don't have, that is time, it takes me less time to find a new house and organise a move than to make him understand that he has to buy toilet paper when the roll runs out.
As for the post I had thought about putting it there actually, but I decided to put it here because it's the community where I have the most friends and since I post rarely I wanted to inform them :)
Oh, then your decision is more than perfect. At the end of the day, you guarantee your peace of mind and also your personal well-being. The best fight is the one you avoid, they would say.
