Hey Actifitters,
I said yesterday we were really in a routine week and Friday didn't really change that trend. At least, we started our long walk of the day with Kaia earlier in the afternoon.
It was much warmer than we like it though. When we arrived in the forest, Kaia's tongue was already hanging out.
And when she found a puddle big enough, she tried dunking her entire head in the stagnant dirty water. Yeah, she's getting a bath this week end...
I also had to leash her back for a while, when we met another dog. But she behaved really well, pretty much ignoring it. That other dog wasn't so good about it, and its owner struggled a bit to keep it from pulling too much.
Lily of the Valley season is getting to the end, but the fragrance is still strong. Probably a week or so, and it will be gone till next year.
We walked a bit more in the forest shade before our Cubiverse vaults loop. And a few clouds helped a bit shielding us from the sun.
When we went back into the forest, I noticed some tracks on the trail. They seemed too big for just an ATV, almost like a car. But it can't be a car, not sure what it was.
We had two choices to leave, the street or through the forest. Kaia chose the latter, probably to stay in the shade a bit longer.
Just as we exited the forest, we met a few deer, as often. Can you see the shiny new antlers coming out on this one?
We could have caught the sunset, but I felt lazy walking one more hour at least. So we just walked in the neighborhood, hunting for a few reflections.
No sunset, but at least we caught the Moon rise. With the sky still blue, it was beautiful.
Well, for a routine work day, it ended up pretty nice. And as a bonus, it was just enough steps to keep the @poprzeczka clean sheet going.
