Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all participants recommend music to each other. A few days ago during my visit home I was going through my old collection of music records and I discovered that my Avril Lavigne collection was wide and special, although incomplete, I even wrote a post that you can read here, but it made me relive those irreverent songs that marked my adolescence, since that was what the music of this Canadian meant for many between 2002 and 2007, her most powerful time. Since then I've been listening to all her songs and updating my playlists, but they lack something that her studio albums don't bring... Their powerful covers...
¡Bienvenidos a Three Tune Tuesday!. Un agradable espació en la comunidad Music que nació de la idea del hermano @ablaze, donde todos los participantes nos recomendamos música entre nosotros. Hace unos días en mi visita a casa estuve revisando mi vieja cada de discos musicales y descubrí que mi colección de Avril Lavigne era amplia y especial, aunque incompleta, incluso escribí un post que pueden leerlo aquí, pero me hizo revivir esas canciones irreverentes que marcaron mi adolescencia, ya que eso era lo que significaba la música de esta canadiense para muchos entre el 2002 y el 2007, su época más poderosa. Desde entonces he estado oyendo todas sus canciones y actualizando mis playlists, pero les hace falta algo que no trae sus álbumes de estudio... Sus poderosos covers...
1. Fuel, original by Metallica
In fact there is a live album where you can find the music I am going to recommend today, and it is My World, which is her first DVD. When artists are new to the pack, as it happened to Avril Lavigne in 2002 who had a massive success that took her on a world tour, she needs to complement the repertoire of her concerts with some covers to cover the live time. Avril lo hizo muy bien colocando su voz a grandes composiciones del pop rock. Esta primera canción Fuel es de la banda Metallica, y de hecho ella la estrenó en el popular homenaje Mtv Icon, pero luego fue incluida en el álbum en vivo que ya les mencioné, ¡es un sonido muy poderoso!.
2. Knockin' on Heaven's Door, original by Bob Dylan
Original by Bob Dylan in the 70's and revived by Guns & Roses in the 90's, Knockin' On Heaven's Door was a very important cover for Avril's fans in 2003, as it was included in the album War Child: Hope along with other cover artists from her label Jive Records and it was the first official video recording off her debut album, I went crazy when it was released. I loved that it was a very fresh version, even calmer and more heartfelt than the original and many famous covers, it had her stamp and it was nice to hear Avril making music even calmer than I'm With You, she was a girl who could go from punk to the most sublime ballads. She also performed it on her first concert tour Try to Shut Me Up and included it on the live album My World, where I finally got it.
Original de Bob Dylan en los años 70 y revivida por Guns & Roses en los 90's, Knockin' On Heaven's Door fue un cover muy importante para los fans de Avril en 2003, ya que se incluyó en el álbum War Child: Hope junto a otros covers de artistas de su casa disquera Jive Records y era la primera grabación con video oficial fuera de su álbum debut, yo enloquecí cuando se publicó. Amé que era una versión muy fresca, incluso más tranquila y sentida que la original y muchas versiones famosas, tenía su sello y fue agradable escuchar a Avril haciendo música incluso más tranquila que I'm With You, era una chica que podía ir del punk a las baladas más sublimes. También la interpretó en su primera gira de conciertos Try to Shut Me Up y la incluyó en el álbum en vivo My World, donde finalmente la obtuve.
3. Basket Case, original by Green Day
Definitely one of the best moments we Avril Lavigne fans have experienced was listening to her singing Basket Case by Green Day. Many of us expected her to be more punk in her early days, due to the image she projected, but we quickly understood that she was a pop artist. Her first album had several pop rock elements and the most punk without a doubt was Sk8er Boi, a single that captivated us all, so listening to her version of Green Day was just and necessary for the public that could attend her concerts and a key moment in the DVD My World; they knew how to please all tastes back then...
Definitivamente uno de los mejores momentos que hemos vivido los fans de Avril Lavigne fue escucharla cantando Basket Case de Green Day. Muchos esperábamos de ella más punk en sus comienzos, debido a la imagen que proyectaba, pero entendimos rápido que era una artista pop. Su primer álbum tuvo varios elementos pop rock y lo más punk sin duda alguna fue Sk8er Boi, un sencillo que nos cautivó a todos, así que escuchar su versión de Green Day era justo y necesario para el público que pudo asistir a sus conciertos y un momento clave en el DVD My World; sí que supieron complacer a todos los gustos en ese entonces...

Since we are talking about Avril and covers, I would like to close this #ttt with Taylor Swift who covered the most important song of the Canadian “Complicated”, but this time she even surprised the audience in the company of Avril Lavigne at Petco Park in San Diego, California. Those epic moments of pop culture that only happen in some concerts and are popularized on the internet. Undoubtedly a great one of the 2000's with one of the biggest stars of the moment...
Ya que hablamos de Avril y de covers, me gustaría cerrar este #ttt con Taylor Swift que versionó la canción más importante de la canadiense "Complicated", pero en esta oportunidad incluso sorprendió al público asistente en compañía de Avril Lavigne en el Petco Park de San Diego en California. Esos momentos épicos de la cultura pop que solo se dan en algunos conciertos y se popularizan en internet. Sin duda alguna una grande de los 2000's con una de las estrellas más grandes del momento...

Realmente me has sorprendido con el otro post y este... de música lírica a un estilo totalmente distinto! Me gustan algunas canciones de ella, canta muy bien además de que es muy hermosa! Abrazo Jesús!😃

Este post es Oro Puro mi querido Jesús, cada canción es un ícono que hizo que Avril se consolidara mucho más cuando iniciaba su carrera musical. Para mí, como te comenté en días pasados, su mejor álbum fue Under My Skin, porque luego cambió un poco el estilo y no me gustó.
De estos temas, yo llegué a compartir su versión de Knockin' On Heaven's Door para Open Mic y verdaderamente que Avril hizo un trabajo magnífico, era increíble ver como de tanta energía como una canción como Sk8er Boi, pasaba a una balada como esa, fue sensacional.
Con respecto a su colaboración con Taylor, no sabía que existía, me encantó. Tus recomendaciones de hoy están realmente poderosas.
Así es, Avril es muy variada en su repertorio y las canciones que escogió para versionar también eran buenísimas y grandes clásicos. Under My Skin es EL ALBUM, en estos días escribí un post sobre mi colección de Avril. Esa colaboración fue casi que espontánea, esas que ocurren a veces cuando los artistas están en la misma ciudad...
