Big Wheels Rollin, Movin' On

Movin' on to the #ThreeTuneTuesday Truckin' 🚛 songs for this week.

As a 8-9 year old child I watched this and was fascinated by the big rigs.

"This is Merle Haggard's #1 hit from 1975 with video from the TV show Movin' On starring Claude Akins & Frank Converse. "Movin' On" is a song written and recorded by American country music singer Merle Haggard and The Strangers. It was released in May 1975 as the third single and partial title track from the album Keep Movin' On. Originally, it was the theme song to the 1974-1976 NBC-TV series of the same name and references the lead characters of the series, Sonny Pruitt and Will Chandler, by name. A full-length version of the song was released as a single in 1975, and it topped the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart that July."

Movin' On to my second #TTT tune. This tune is one of the most popular old school trucking story/songs ever made.

Hammer Down with the auction gavel to #3 and give a listen to this one. Not really a trucking song. But ask yourself how anything makes it anywhere. Even the cows (or pretty girl) sold at this songs auction were hauled by a trucker like @krazzytrukker

That's a nice little story from Red Sovine man. I'd say you love blasting these country songs as you're trucking along man, nice one, good stuff. Keep on trucking.

Mostly talk radio these days. I did listen to about an hour of TTT music posts this morning. I have been trucking 30+ so it seems I have heard every song out there a thousand times...

Funny. I stayed in Redding, California for about a year back in '14ish. I'm telling you cuz that's where Merle Haggard lives. You can't go more than 100 feet in Redding before someone lets you know Merle Haggard lives in Redding.

You Arts @dandays are a walking talking Jonny Cash song...

Mee Too...

At first glance convict, you thought I meant folsom prison blues right?
You been there too?
