There are models that are too accustomed to cement and air conditioning, they love nature but butterflies bother them, so to speak. Those with too much glamor are extraordinary for studio sessions and offer spectacular portraits and poses. And there are all-terrain models, which you can count on for anything. Several years ago I did this informal session with Melissa, without demands for makeup or wardrobe, just for the pleasure of posing/taking photos and she behaved wonderfully. The trunk where she climbed had many stinging ants, the ground where she walked sank gently to her bare feet, from so much layer of decaying leaves. But did that matter to her? No. It was the pure pleasure of being photographed and for me, of taking these photos.
Hay modelos demasiado acostumbradas al cemento y al aire acondicionado, aman la naturaleza pero les molestan las mariposas, por así decirlo. Esas con demasiado glamour son extraordinarias para las sesiones de estudio y ofrecen retratos y poses espectaculares. Y las hay modelos todo terreno, con las que se puede contar para lo que sea. Hace varios años hice esta sesión informal a Melissa, sin exigencias de maquillaje ni vestuario, solo por el placer de posar/hacer fotos y ella se comportó de maravillas. El tronco donde se subió tenía muchas hormigas que picaban, el suelo donde caminó se hundía suavemente a sus descalzos pies, de tanta capa de hojas en descomposición. Pero eso le importó? No. Era el puro placer del ser fotografiada y para mi, el de tomar estas fotos.
