Taken during my first solo sunrise hike while on a road trip to CO/WY. Getting to the summit of Byers Peak and having it all to myself was a very refreshing and soothing experience. While walking around I noticed the countless flowers in bloom and it was hard not to stop and admire the beauty but also their resiliences to be able to survive at such altitude and in such extreme conditions throughout the year.
