Hola queridos amigos, en esta oportunidad nos perderemos en este mágico atardecer.
Al regresar en el ferry de las 19:40 desde la pequeña isla de Formentera hacia Ibiza, tuve la bendición de disfrutar de este momento tan hermoso que es cuando se pone el sol.
The sky was so orange it looked like it had witnessed a fight. I don't know why, I don't know if it was the buildings in the distance of Ibiza, that made me think of Games of Thrones style battles with the sun setting behind low hills.
El cielo estaba tan anaranjado que parecía haber sido testigo de una lucha. No sé por qué, no se si fueron las construcciones a lo lejos de Ibiza, que me llevaron a pensar en las batallas estilo Games of Thrones con un sol poniéndose tras colinas bajas.
The backlighting of this scene was beautiful and perfect, as the silhouettes were clean and clear.
The sky was clear, and the only thing that had an intense movement was the sea.
The swell on that Mediterranean afternoon was so powerful that it gave this landscape a dramatic tone, which added to my idea of a medieval battle.

El cielo estaba despejado, y lo único que tenía un intenso movimiento, era el mar.
El oleaje en aquella tarde del Mediterráneo era tan potente que le daba a este paisaje un tono dramático, que se sumaba a mi idea de alguna batalla medieval.
The small boat began to move quite a bit, and I, among the passengers, was one of the three restless ones who moved around the ferry looking for the best shots of that natural event, thirsty for precious photos, as if we were in front of treasures that appeared and disappeared in fractions of seconds.
And that's how it was, in instants those resplendent flashes of landscape were gone. That the water, that the movement, that a boat, that the perfect inclination of the sunlight, that the hill, that a lighthouse in the distance, that now the lighthouse was closer, that I wanted to see it with the camera, that I wanted to see it with my eyes and enjoy inhaling and exhaling, that I wanted to live it all in those minutes crossing that little piece of sea.
La pequeña embarcación empezó a moverse bastante, y yo, entre los pasajeros era una de los tres inquietos que se movían por el ferry buscando las mejores tomas de aquel evento natural, sedientos los tres de fotos preciosas, como si estuviésemos frente a tesoros que aparecían y desaparecían en fracciones de segundos.
Y es que fue así, en instantes se iban aquellos resplandecientes flashes de paisaje. Que el agua, que el movimiento, que un barco, que la perfecta inclinación de la luz del sol, que la colina, que un faro a lo lejos, que ahora el faro estaba más cerca, que lo quería ver con la cámara, que lo quería ver con mis ojos y disfrutar de inhalar y de exhalar, que quería vivirlo todo en aquellos minutos atravesando ese pedacito de mar.
55 minutes is a long time by ferry, a friend told me when I told her that I had bought the low cost ticket for €15. My response was: *I love to travel by boat. And for me, it was going to be a juicy moment, because I bought the last ticket just to capture the sunset. I took a gamble, because I didn't know if the day was going to be beautiful and I didn't know if the sunset would actually occur at that time. I also had no idea if the sunset looked good from that angle.
But... what does a traveler who loves landscapes and adventures do? Explore, take risks, try. I might as well be saying now: look, this stretch is not very good to see the sunset or yes, 55 minutes is really a long time on this trip.
55 minutos es mucho tiempo en ferry me dijo una amiga cuando le conté que había comprado el pasaje low cost por €15. Mi respuesta fue: amo viajar en barco. Y es que para mí, iba a ser un momento jugoso, pues me comrpé el último pasaje justamente para capturar el atardecer. Me la jugué, porque no sabía si el día iba a estar lindo ni sabía si efectivamente el atardecer iba a ocurrir a esa hora. Tampoco tenía demasiada idea de si se veía bien el atardecer desde ese ángulo.
Pero… ¿qué hace una viajera amante de los paisajes y de las aventuras? Explora, se arriesga, intenta. De última podría estar diciendo ahora: miren, este tramo no está muy bueno para ver el atardecer o sí, realmente 55 minutos es mucho tiempo en este viaje.

Lo único que puede jugarte en contra es que te toque un día nublado o lluvioso, sino, vas a tener 55 minutos de un espectáculo natural por tan solo €15 jeje.
