Street art in Ibiza: an expression of freedom
Hello beautiful people of Hive! I hope you are doing great! This time I will share with you some photos of the spectacular art that exists in Ibiza, and I am referring to street art.
Recently some friends of mine, who have been here for 2 years, told me that all this Ibiza's culture of freedom and freedom, goes back to the 70's approximately, and even a little bit before.

Hace muy poco unas amigas que llevan 2 años aquí, me contaron que toda esta cultura ibicenca de descontrol y libertad, se remonta a los años 70’ aproximadamente, e incluso un poco antes.

I think this is a little bit what Ibiza's street art expresses.
Although its murals are very new (or very well preserved), the tinge they have is one of power, of diversity, of freedom, of courage.
En aquel entonces, los hippies de España y luego de otros países de Europa, encontraban en Ibiza el sitio donde llevar a cabo una vida totalmente relajada que los habilitaba a consumir y hacer sencillamente lo que quisieran.
Creo que esto es un poco lo que expresa el arte callejero de Ibiza.
Aunque sus murales son muy nuevos (o están muy bien conservados), el tinte que tienen es de poder, de diversidad, de libertad, de coraje.
There is not a single painting that expresses sadness, at least of the ones I have seen. They all manifest expansion, strength and freedom.
My favorite mural is the one of the girl who is with her spine in a deep expanse and with her chest pointing to the sky, while it looks like a part of sky is coming in from the ceiling.
However, there is a painting of an older lady that is very realistic. I quite like that one too.
No hay una sola pintura que exprese tristeza, al menos de las que he visto. Todas ellas manifiestan expansión, fuerza y libertad.
Mi mural preferido es el de la chica que está con su columna en una profunda extensión y con su pecho apuntando al cielo, mientras que parece que una parte de cielo está entrando desde el techo.
Sin embargo, hay una pintura de una señora mayor que es muy realista. Esa también me gusta bastante.
As you can see, this art expresses the different cultures on the island, as well as the inexhaustible creativity that Ibiza embraces.
Although these talented artists have left us their beautiful works, they themselves are a symbol of what this island has to offer. You can even see in one of the murals that says BLOOP, the presence of the motorcycle, a vehicle that is the exponent of Ibiza, since most residents and visitors use it to go from one place to another.
Como pueden ver, este arte expresa las diferentes culturas que hay en la isla, como también la inagotable creatividad que abraza Ibiza.
Aunque estos talentosos artistas nos han dejado sus preciosas obras, ellas mismas son un símbolo de lo que esta isla ofrece. Incluso se puede ver en uno de los murales que dice BLOOP, la presencia de la moto, un vehículo que es el exponente de Ibiza, ya que la mayoría de los residentes y visitantes la utilizan para ir de uno a otro lado.
