Not the photography break I had in mind...

Last week I went down to Norfolk for a few days, stopping just outside Great Yarmouth on a caravan sight called "Seashore".
I was hoping for some photography, as you know I do love photography and I wanted to get some windpumps/windmills along with other things.
Sadly the weather had other things in mind.

Equipped with my camera and drone, as well as OM6 Gimbal, and my old Ricoh Theta 360 camera, I went with every occasion in mind lol.

(360 Vertical panorama of Great Yarmouth sea front with a sundog in shot).

(I do like the above shot, but I'd forgot about the capabilities of my drone being able to shoot in portrait orientation lol, it's something I don't use very often lmao).

Most of these shots were taken on the last day, as I mentioned before the weather did take a turn for the worst and we had rain for a full day, we were going to head home the following day, but as the weather changed, we decided to stay for another night.

As I took the dogs out on the sand dunes on the last day, I finally got a sunset, the sky had been poor this break, with no stars or anything just cloud.

It was a little windy when I flew the drone out to see, flying back seemed to take forever, as it was only managing 5-6mps, as I was flying into the wind, flying out it was 14mps, thankfully I had a full battery to use so wasn't too concerned.

The second sundog of the day, I thought these were supposed to be rare? Or is it ET's spaceship taking off? lol

Sadly I didn't manage to get to the windpumps on the broads, although I am heading back down there in September, I'm going to get the shots that I missed on this occasion.

Overall though I had a great, well needed break to recharge my batteries.

Thanks for reading, all the best :-)

The photos are super!

I should dust my drone off and get out more this year! You certainly made hay whilst the sun shone. Great photography!

Thanks ever so much, I tried to make the best of the day while I could lol
