Hello Hivers, today I want to share with you this work focused on stock material that I did for a company that handles the marketing area for a supermarket chain in my country. They needed new material and wanted to give it a slightly more premium approach, and also wanted it to be original content since other supermarkets are doing the same.
Hola Hivers, hoy quiero compartirles este trabajo enfocado en material de stock que realicé para una empresa que maneja el área de marketing de una línea de supermercados en mi país. Necesitaban material nuevo y darle un enfoque un poco más premium, además de que querían contenido propio debido a que el resto de los supermercados también lo están haciendo.
The planning for this campaign was quite difficult and not very effective. However, something positive that came out of these difficulties was that I had the freedom to do what I considered most appropriate. I was mostly alone during much of the campaign, as we were 3 teams in total, 2 for video and my assistant and I for photography.
La planificación para esta campaña fue bastante difícil y poco efectiva. Sin embargo, algo positivo que surgió de estas dificultades fue que tuve libertad para hacer lo que consideraba más adecuado. Gran parte de la campaña estuve solo, ya que éramos 3 equipos en total, 2 de video y mi asistente y yo en fotografía.
The most challenging part was being able to use the available models at the moment I had already set something up for each situation, which made for a less fluid workflow. It was a quite demanding campaign and I had to rely heavily on my steadiness. Upon finishing, I was so mentally and physically exhausted that I felt I hadn't done a good job. However, upon reviewing the material on the computer more objectively, I felt I had done a good job.
Lo más complicado fue poder usar a los modelos disponibles en el momento que ya había armado algo para cada situación, lo que dificultó un flujo de trabajo más fluido. Fue una campaña bastante exigente y tuve que confiar mucho en mi pulso. Al finalizar, estaba tan exhausto mental y físicamente que sentía que no había hecho un buen trabajo. Sin embargo, al revisar el material en la computadora de forma más objetiva, sentí que había hecho un buen trabajo.
If there's anything I take away from this experience, it's that marketing is a very demanding and poorly paid field in my country. Although I didn't charge much for this campaign, I did my best. While I would do it again, I don't think a full-time marketing career is something I'd like for myself. Nevertheless, I'll always be available when needed.
Si algo me queda de esta experiencia es que el marketing es un rubro muy desgastante y poco remunerado en mi país. A pesar de que no cobré mucho por esta campaña, di lo mejor de mí. Aunque lo repetiría, creo que el camino del marketing a tiempo completo no es algo que me gustaría para mí. No obstante, siempre estaré disponible cuando me necesiten.
