Greetings to all Hivers passionate about photographic art in this important community. In today's post I want to share with you some shots taken of some friends at their informal wedding. Being an informal wedding, the typical attire for this ceremony was not necessary and, therefore, we did the session outdoors in more casual clothing. The photographs were taken in the gardens and interiors of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba with my Canon Eos Rebel T5 camera and a Canon 50 mm F: 1.8 lens. The light used was solar light, which luckily was in the appropriate intensity range to avoid burns in areas of the image.
Saludos a todos los Hivers apasionados por el arte fotográfico de esta importante comunidad. En el post de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas tomas realizadas a unos amigos en su boda informal. Al ser una boda informal, no fue necesario su vestimenta típica de esta ceremonia y, por tanto, realizamos la sesión en exteriores con ropa más casual. Las fotografías fueron realizadas en los jardines e interiores del Hotel Nacional de Cuba con mi cámara Canon Eos Rebel T5 y un objetivo Canon 50 mm F: 1.8. La luz empleada fue la solar que por suerte estaba en el rango de intensidad adecuado para evitar quemaduras en zonas de la imagen.
The main difficulties for the photographs were the constant presence of people staying at the hotel and other visitors who frequently affected the framing area. Even so, we are very satisfied with the results that are coming out little by little. To develop the RAW files and their initial touch-ups, I use the Capture One Pro program and for the final touch-ups the powerful Photoshop tool. As a photographer I don't usually "plasticize" girls' faces since I don't see that completely smooth texture on their faces as very natural. I prefer lighting and color tweaks more than physical details.
Las principales dificultades para las fotografías fue la constante presencia de personas que se hospedan en el hotel y otros visitantes que afectaban con mucha frecuencia la zona de encuadre. Aun así, estamos muy satisfechos con los resultados que van saliendo poco a poco. Para revelar los archivos RAW y sus retoques iniciales, utilizo el programa Capture One Pro y para los retoques finales la poderosa herramienta Photoshop. Como fotógrafo no suelo “plastificar” el rostro de las chicas ya que no veo muy natural esa textura totalmente lisa en los rostros. Prefiero más los retoques de iluminación y colores que de detalles físicos.
