I hope you're all well.
Yesterday I went out with my friends Laura and Wesley to visit Praia da Redinha, here in Natal. We left by car to the place, but when we got there we realized that the beach, despite being beautiful, did not have very interesting attractions and as we wanted to watch the sunset, we asked local residents where would be the best place to enjoy this moment and they promptly answered us that we should go to the end of Praia de Santa Rita and cross the Dunes towards Jenipabu - RN.
We followed the directions and arrived at a parking lot at the end of the road, before reaching the beach. We got information there and instead of going along the beach, we went up a big dune that was at the back of the parking lot. As we climb the dune, still a few minutes before the sun goes down, we come across an incredibly beautiful landscape, full of people riding buggy through the dunes and waiting, just like us, for the sunset.
And what a spectacle that sunset was!
I had said in the last post about how I liked the sunset of São Miguel do Gostoso so much that it would be on my list of favorites and now I can say that Jenipabu is also part of this list. The paradisiacal landscape, taken by the colors of the late afternoon, is even more stunning, especially on low tide days where the colors reflect in the small natural pools that form on the edge of the beach sand.
Remembering today, from yesterday's tour, we all wish we had gone earlier to enjoy the afternoon on the beach, and only then watch the sunset. And that we will do soon. I really wanted to sit in a bar and have a caipirinha enjoying the view.
I also felt like taking the Buggy ride and venturing into the Jenipabu dunes, but that will also be left for a later time.

Olá meus queridos amigos!
Espero que estejam todos bem.
Ontem saí com meus amigos Laura e Wesley para visitar a Praia da Redinha, aqui na cidade de Natal. Saímos de carro até o local, mas chegando lá percebemos que a praia, apesar de linda, não tinha atrativos muito interessantes e como queríamos observar o Pôr do sol, perguntamos a moradores locais onde seria o melhor lugar para aproveitar esse momento e prontamente nos responderam que deveríamos ir até o final da Praia de Santa Rita e atravessar as Dunas para o lado de Jenipabu - RN.
Seguimos as orientações e chegamos até um estacionamento no final da via, antes de chegar na praia. Nos informamos ali e ao invés de seguir pela praia, saímos subindo uma grande duna que havia na parte dos fundos do estacionamento. Ao subir a duna, faltando ainda alguns minutos para o sol se por, nos deparamos com uma paisagem incrivelmente linda, cheia de pessoas passeando de Buggy pelas dunas e aguardando, assim como nós, o por do sol.
E que espetáculo foi esse por do sol!
Eu havia dito no ultimo post sobre como havia gostado tanto do por do sol de São Miguel do Gostoso a ponto de que estaria na minha lista de favoritos e agora posso dizer que Jenipabu também faz parte dessa lista. A paisagem paradísiaca, tomada pelas cores do fim de tarde, fica ainda mais deslumbrante, principalmente em dias de maré baixa onde as cores refletem nas pequenas piscinas naturais que se formam na beira da areia da praia.
Lembrando hoje, do passeio de ontem, ficamos todos com vontade de ter ido mais cedo aproveitar a tarde na praia, para só depois observar o por do sol. E isso iremos fazer em breve. Fiquei realmente com o desejo de sentar em um barzinho e ficar tomando uma caipirinha curtindo o visual.
Também ficou a vontade de fazer o passeio de Buggy e se aventurar nas dunas de Jenipabu, mas esse também vai ficar para um próximo momento.
