Yesterday I posted about a hike in the snow in the city of Köln in Germany. During the night more snow came from the sky. The morning after I had to go to the pharmacy. And no, not for a morning-after-pill...
The day before, it was all covered in a 15cm layer of white magic powder

After waking up, I enjoyed a tasty breakfast with the balcony doors open. It's always a surprise with snow and going to sleep, how the world looks like the next day. Yesterday the sky and colors were totally different, but today the sky is clear.

A short walk in town
During the walk in the city center, it was getting sunny. Temperatures stayed below 0 degrees. The snow stayed, although the snow shovels tried to remove the beautiful white. The morning sun created a scenery that made this grey city looking a little bit nicer.
And even with these freezing temperatures and snow, you hear them: The ring-necked parakeet...Those bright green, exotic, small and somewhat larger birds with a red beak, which make a lot of noise.
This would have been the chance to see the Dom in white instead of black

Next time I should bring a thermos with hot Glühwein...and Gore-Tex shoes.
