Temple Visit and Seva
Few days back I went to the shitla Mata temple which is presented in gwalior with my mother on an auspicios day of navratri.we offer prasad to the god and also distributed 20 packets of food among the needy people
The Shitla Mata temple in Gwalior is one of the most revered temples in the city. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Shitla Mata, who is worshipped as the goddess of smallpox and diseases. People from all walks of life visit this temple to seek the blessings of the goddess and offer their prayers.
My mother and I visited the temple on an auspicious day of Navratri, a nine-day festival that is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm all over India. The temple was teeming with devotees, all dressed in their traditional best, offering their prayers and seeking the blessings of the goddess. As we entered the temple premises, we could feel a sense of peace and serenity engulfing us.

We bought some flowers and sweets as offerings to the goddess and went inside the temple. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, and the air was filled with the scent of incense sticks and flowers. We stood in the queue to offer our prayers to the goddess, and when our turn came, we bowed down before the idol and offered our offerings.
After offering our prayers, we decided to do something for the needy people who were standing outside the temple. We bought some packets of food and distributed them among the people. The joy on their faces was priceless, and it gave us immense satisfaction to be able to help them in some way.
The act of distributing food to the needy people is something that has been practiced in our culture since ancient times. It is believed that by feeding the hungry, we are serving God himself. This act of selfless service is known as 'Seva,' and it is considered one of the highest forms of devotion.
As we walked back to our car, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. The experience of visiting the temple and helping the needy had left a lasting impression on my mind, and I realized that sometimes the most fulfilling experiences are the ones where we serve others without any expectation of getting anything in return.
In conclusion, the visit to the Shitla Mata temple in Gwalior was not just a religious experience but also an opportunity to serve the needy and do our bit for the society. It taught us the importance of selfless service and the joy that comes from helping others. I would urge everyone to take some time out from their busy lives and engage in acts of service to experience the joy and fulfillment that comes with it.
I am feeling very delightful while I am sharing these pictures with my HIVE family
