I am a project Engineer with over 2 years of hand-on practical experience in designing, implementation and integrating renewable energy systems across the most populous black nation in the world. Currently I am working at the forefront of the telecom industry's evolution towards achieving energy sustainability and eco-friendly landscape in Africa. In this role I practically executed technical site survey, site readiness, system integration, testing and commissioning of green energy solutions (solar power systems, hybrid power systems, lithium-ion energy storages, national Grid connectivity, Power-over fiber, fuel additives among others). I have championed the design and installation of solar PV systems on 426 base transceiver stations (BTS) in the northern part of Nigeria with units of solar charge controllers (48V, 59A) and photovoltaic distribution unit harnessing the abundance sun energy in the region. I integrated the PV system with hybrid power systems installed with li-ion batteries (LIBs) energy storage systems (200Ah). On 94 BTS I further integrated the system to the national grid while 332 BTS are off grid solar PV system projects.
