It was quite difficult, but also interesting! I have quite a few of my animals, which I save from the street and find a permanent home for most of them.
My friends come to help in this difficult task. Someone helps financially, and someone gives a temporary home.
So, my friend Julia sheltered the homeless tricolor kitty Vivi, my ward. Also she has a fox terrier dog named Dolce. He is already quite old, about 12 years old.
This couple became good friends!
Це було досить важко, але й цікаво! Насправді у мене достатньо своїх тварин, яких я забираю з вулиці і більшості з них знаходжу постійний дім.
Деякі мої друзі приходять на допомогу у цій нелегкій справі. Хтось помагає фінансово, а хтось дає тимчасовий дім.
Отож моя подруга Юля прихистила бездомну триколірну кицю Віві, мою підопічну. Окрім того у неї є песик фокстер'єр на ім'я Дольчі. Він уже доволі старий, біля 12 років йому.
Ця парочка досить швидко подружилась!
My friend had to leave Ukraine for 10 days due to her job, so I agreed to take care of the animals :) The difficulty was that at the same time I had to take care of my own cats, including a kitty after surgery. And Julia lives in another district...
So I enlisted the help of another mutual friend of ours. During these days we had many different adventures, but they all ended positively. I was most afraid of walking Dolce. To avoid being attacked by a large dog. Well, the second fear is that he might not eat some abomination like a bone or spoiled food...
Dolce can't see well and, as it seemed to me, can't hear well, but his sense of smell doesn't betray him:)
Подруга мала поїхати по роботі на 10 днів за межі країни, то ж я погодилася доглядати за звірами:) Складність полягала в тому, що паралельно слід було опікуватись власними котами, серед яких киця після операції. Подруга живе в іншому районі... То ж я взяла у підмогу ще нашого спільного друга. За ці дні у нас було багато різних пригод, але всі закінчилися позитивно. Найбільш я боялася вигулювати Дольчі. Щоб на нього не напав великий собака. Ну і другий страх - щоб він не з'їв якусь гидоту типу кістки чи зіпсутої їжі... Дольчі погано бачить і як мені здалося не добре чує, але нюх його не зраджує:)
Dolce showed me his district! This is a real jungle. Old houses with 4-5 floors are quite close to each other, and between them grow tall trees (birches, maples, spruces). It's hard to believe that it's almost downtown. These days were even a little hot, but the green plant "sea" helped us a lot.
Дольчі показав мені свій район! Тут справжні джунглі. Старі будинки на 4-5 поверхів стоять доволі близько один до одного, а між ними ростуть височенні дерева (берези, клени, ялини). Важко повірити, що це майже центр міста. Дні були навіть трошки спекотні, то ж зелена тінь дуже нам помагала.
I went where the dog wanted, within reason, of course! Almost all my attention was focused on ensuring that everything went as it should... Nevertheless, I managed to grab a few beautiful pictures of nature from this green sea. Rose hips, strawberries and some pink bush are blooming... Lots of beauty around!
Я йшла туди, куди захотів пес, в межах розумного звісно! Майже вся моя увага була прикута до того, щоб все йшло як треба... Та все ж кілька гарних картин природи і вихопила з цього зеленого моря. Цвіте шипшина, суниці та якийсь рожевий кущ... Багато краси навколо!
At first, I only planned to come to feed and walk the dog, but I immediately realized that I should stay here for the night. After all, Dolce hates loneliness! If he is left for a long time, he barks loudly and shrillly, so that the neighbors can hear it.
Since it is a hunting dog, its task is to bark long and tirelessly to call the owner to the victim (that is, the fox). But our dog hunts only for food in the bowl.
In the evening, the cat and the dog lay down next to me and everyone felt happy:) These were moments of coziness, which are missing in life!
Якщо спочатку я планувала лише приходити годувати та вигулювати собаку, то одразу ж зрозуміла, що слід лишатись тут ночувати. Адже Дольчі ненавидить самотність! Якщо його лишати надовго, він гавкає високо і пронизливо, так що це чути сусідам, які були невдоволені поведінкою собаки.
Оскільки це є мисливський пес, то його завдання довго і невтомно гавкати, щоб покликати господаря до жертви (тобто лисиці). Але наш пес полює лише на корм у мисці.
Увечері киця і песик лягали біля мене і всі почувалися досить щасливо:) Це були миті затишку, яких бракує в житті! Я трохи скучаю за цими днями і сподіваюся, що буду приходити в гості.
