Hoy, les traigo una divertida estrategia ideal para los pequeños entre 4-5 años que se están iniciando en el mundo de las matemáticas, en cuanto a las operaciones básicas como suma y resta; lo cual es un mundo nuevo y fascinante para ellos, y que empiezan a descubrir por medio de situaciones cotidianas como la cantidad de caramelos que tienen, y cuantos le quedan si regala algunos, y casos similares!
Las operaciones básicas, son la base para todos los contenidos matemáticos que irán desarrollando a medida que vayan avanzando, en su aprendizaje, por ello es importante lograr que ellos adquieran un aprendizaje significativo en esta area, y que mejor manera de hacerlo que con una estrategia didáctica que le permita jugar y aprender al mismo tiempo!
Esta estrategia la he denominado "Deditos matemáticos", y es ideal para niños entre 4-5 años, que ya estén conociendo los números, por lo menos del 1 al 10; y ofrece al niño beneficios como:
Aprende suma y resta
sigue instrucciones
motricidad
coordinación
escritura de los números
refuerzo del conteo
Ademas le permite al niño conocer e identificar los dedos con su nombre!

It also allows the child to know and identify the fingers with their name!

Preparando el tablero:
En una cartulina se marcan las manos del niño y se recortan; se forra el carton, y en la parte posterior se le pega un trozo de cartulina amarilla y se forra con cinta adhesiva transparente que sera la pizarra!
En el carton se pegan las manos una al lado de la otra, sin fijar los dedos; luego se pega un pequeño trozo de cierre mágico en cada dedo y la palma de la mano; así esta listo el tablero!
Preparing the board:
On a piece of cardboard, mark the child's hands and cut them out; line the cardboard, and on the back, glue a piece of yellow cardboard and line it with transparent adhesive tape, which will be the blackboard!
Glue the hands side by side on the cardboard, without fixing the fingers; then glue a small piece of magic zipper on each finger and the palm of the hand; this way the board is ready!
El mismo tablero lo podemos utilizar para suma y resta; iniciemos con la suma:
Se colocan las manos con los dedos empuñados, y, se escribe en el tablero la suma a realizar, en este caso 4 mas 2; el niño deberá levantar la cantidad de dedos que corresponda según los sumandos, en este caso 4 y 2, luego cuenta el total, y, anota el resultado en la pizarra!
Así, se pueden realizar multiples operaciones de suma, donde el total sea igual o menor a 10!
The same board can be used for addition and subtraction; let's start with addition:
The hands are placed with the fingers clasped, and, write on the board the sum to be made, in this case 4 plus 2; the child must raise the number of fingers that corresponds according to the addends, in this case 4 and 2, then count the total, and, write down the result on the board!
In this way, multiple addition operations can be performed, where the total is equal to or less than 10!
En el caso de la resta, se dejan hacia arriba la cantidad de dedos que se corresponda con el minuendo, y el niño, deberá bajar la cantidad del sustraendo, luego contara los dedos que quedan hacia arriba, que sera el resultado o diferencia!
In the case of subtraction, the number of fingers that correspond to the minuend is left up, and the child must lower the number of the subtrahend, then count the fingers that are left up, which will be the result or difference!

What I like most about this, is the visual effect. Kids get to learn faster when they see what they learn and this is higly efficient when learning Math.
I imagine how fun it would be to have many of these colored hands and do these simple math additions and substractions with kids.
