A single generation in US across every state is bigger than most countries in the world. If you're gonna pick a sample that big, on every instance, you're gonna get soldiers doctors lawyers manual workers coders teachers structural engineers etc. They participate in the infrastructure that you use to call them lazy without worrying about being publicly executed for it. It's part of your freedom, so that's fine, but it's also a good example of laziness.
