RANDOM RAMBLE: MEN AND WOMEN

I spent the better part of my day binge-watching videos on TikTok today. Most of the content on my page covered the MAN Vs BEAR trending debate. For those who do not know about the trend, a couple of days ago, a man posed a hypothetical question to women: who would they feel safer with in the woods, a man or a bear? Most female creators on TikTok (that I watched) went with the bear.

At first, I was in denial. I thought they were saying these things to gain engagement, but the deeper I delved into this rabbit hole, the more apparent it became to me that some of these women were serious. "But they can't be serious, right?" I asked myself. A bear is a wild animal and can easily kill a woman. Even in instances where a man intends to harm or assault a woman, she stands a better chance of defending herself against a man than a bear.

After a while, I genuinely began to rationalize this fear. These women are genuinely scared of men to the point where they would rather take their chances with a bear. At first, I didn't know what to do with this information, and at another point, I felt I should just avoid women in general, aside from the ones in my life.

Side note, I tend to feel more comfortable walking behind a woman. In most cases, when I am walking on the road and a woman is ahead of me within a reasonable distance, I tend to overtake her. I don't understand the reason for this behaviour, but I am guessing it's because I don't want to be perceived as a creep or something.

The world is becoming increasingly unsafe for many men. Manhood has become something men should be ashamed of owning. It is similar, in some cases, to whiteness. I saw a clip the other day where young boys (aged 4-6) were told to stand in front of their female classmates and apologize for being boys/men. I am still trying to make sense of it.

I do not know where the West or the world in general is moving towards, but the radicalization of women and shaming of men isn't the way forward. It is not benefiting the female cause, and at some point, men will fight back, and you can say they are already doing so. There is the rise of incels and redpillers.

The gender wars are only a distraction. Nevertheless, they highlight how men and women are dissatisfied with their lives and society. The union between both genders is under attack (or probably never existed), threatening our entire existence.

I hope for a world where more women and men get along. I understand that most of the noise stems from the internet, but the web is becoming an integral part of our lives. We need to fight the doctrine of hate and ensure the world is a safe space for men and women.
