This white-flowered plant is called "Niwazekishou," and I had collected it when I was in elementary school as part of my free research project during summer vacation.
This flower also comes in purple, and I later found purple flowers in another location.
This plant was particularly overgrown over a large area.
After returning home, I found that this plant was a wildflower called "nayo kusafuji.
Nayo" means "feeble," and "kusafuji" is a wildflower that produces flowers similar to those of the wisteria tree, hence the name.
Kusafuji" is definitely a fitting name, as it looks just like a wisteria flower.
However, "nayo" does not apply at all, and it is an extraordinary reproducer.

Today was a nice day off and I had planned to walk with my lunch as well as this blog post.
However, I apparently slept wrong and my neck and shoulders were too sore and painful to do so.
I spent the rest of the day relaxing at home, enjoying my balcony vegetable garden. Oh - my neck still hurts.

スタート地点は広い河川敷です。
この場所は、河川敷を活用した緑地公園であり、防災施設でもあります。
ここには備蓄土砂置場があり、大雨時に川の水量が増した時、水を堰き止めるための土囊袋を作る施設になっています。
また、ヘリポートもあり、災害からの復旧活動を行う時には現地対策本部として機能するようになっています。
建物の中には会議室もあるようで、平常時には、地域コミュニティの活動スペースなどで活用されています。
広い河川敷は春の野草がたくさん生えていて、たくさんの花が咲いて、白、黄色、紫の花びらが太陽の下で輝いていました。
とても広い河川敷です。
よく草刈りをされているのですが、気候が良くなり、雨も程よく降って太陽の光も十分降り注いでいるので、野草がものすごい勢いで生い茂っていました。
川に近い場所はたくさんの木も生えています。
木は自然に生えているものですが、きっと大雨が降った時には天然の堤防としての働きをするのでしょう。
ここのロケーションを、前回と同じ航空地図をつかって確認します。
この場所は「赤矢印」の部分です。とても大きな川のそばにあります。
この川は遠く離れた山々から流れてきた川がいくつもいくつも合流してできている川です。
なので、上流で大雨が降るとこの川に流れ込む雨水はとてつもない水量に達し、堤防を超えた水が両岸の街へ溢れそうになりますし、実際に溢れて大水害を起こしたことが過去にあります。
そのため、水害への備えがあちこちに設けられています。
河川敷は新緑に覆われて、たくさんの花が咲いていました。
この場所は、離れてみるとまるで白い帯のように見えます。
ここには白い花が一斉に咲いていました。
最初は人工的に作られた場所であっても、自然はそんなことお構いなしに力一杯成長します。
この季節は特に一斉に野草の背丈が伸び、一斉に花が咲いて、ものすごいパワーを感じます。
この白い花を咲かせる植物は「ニワゼキショウ」という名前で、私は小学生の時に夏休みの自由研究で植物採集をして、その時に採集したことがあります。
この花には紫色もあり、私はこの後別の場所に紫色の花も見つけました。
特に広いエリアにわたって生い茂っていたのはこの植物です。
帰宅してから調べたところ、この植物は「ナヨクサフジ」という野草のようです。
「ナヨ」というのは「弱々しい」という意味で「クサフジ」は木の藤の花に似た花を咲かせる野草だからこの名前がついたそうです。
「クサフジ」というのは間違いなくぴったりの名前で、藤の花にそっくりです。
しかし「ナヨ」は全く当てはまらず、とんでもない繁殖力です。
これから最初の「赤矢印」を出発して「黄色矢印」まで川沿いをずっと歩いていきますが、約3kmの距離の間、ずっとこの花が咲いていました。
広い河川敷には、他にも多くの花が咲いていました。
シロツメクサと、私では名前を調べることができなかった黄色い花がたくさん咲いていました。
少し離れた写真をみると、うっすらと地面が黄色に染まっているように見えます。
それぐらいたくさん黄色の花が咲いていました。
黄色い花は1種類ではなく、少しずつ異なる何種類もの黄色い花がありました。
この「河川敷を活用した緑地公園兼防災施設」で、簡単なランチを摂る予定でした。
コーヒーを淹れて、とても簡単なハンバーガーとチョコクリームパンを食べる予定でした。
しかし、ベンチとテーブルが大勢で公園施設を利用しにきた団体さんに占領されてしまったので、別の場所へ移動することにしました。
そう、3km歩いて別の緑地公園へ行くことにしたのです。
ここからしばらく川を見ながら歩きます。

今日は天気の良い休日で、このブログ記事と同じようにお弁当をもって歩く予定でした。
しかし、どうやら寝違えをしてしまい、首と肩が痛くて痛くて無理でした。
ベランダ菜園を楽しんで、自宅でのんびりして過ごしました。いてて。

シロツメクサかわいいです！もう咲いているのですね。クサフジはカラスノエンドウととても似ていますよね。うちにもどちらも咲きますが、まだまだ生えてくるには時間がかかりそうです。紫の花は可愛いですよね。お弁当を持って歩くのはとっても楽しそうです。
寝違えは辛いですね😭私はよく寝違えるので、あの痛みは困りますね😣。早く良くなりますように！

マメ科ソラマメ属で、元々の原産国はヨーロッパだということは今回初めて知りました。
マメ科植物は「畑や田んぼで育てて、そのまま農地にすき込むことで窒素源をもたらす肥料にする」という目的がほとんどなんですけど、繁殖力が強すぎて、あちこちでちょっと問題になっているらしいです。
花は可憐ですごく綺麗なんですけどね。
寝違えは体が硬くなっているから、らしいです😅
寝る前にストレッチをすると良いらしいのですが、サボってしまうんですよね（笑）
デスクワークばかりして、そのまま特に体を動かさずに寝ちゃう、というのはなるべくやめなければ（笑）
