The claiming process to move your WKOINs to the the native KOIN in Koinos blockchain is ready. As you probably know, the snapshot of the wkoins was taken on Oct 31th (not the official snapshot of ERC-20 tokens on ethereum).
How to claim
The process to claim your koins is very simple
- Search in your hive wallet a transfer sent by me on Nov 5th.
- The memo is encrypted. Unencrypt it with your preferred wallet. For instance, on peakd.com just click on the lock and you will see a popup to unencrypt the data.
- Copy the secret in the message.
- Go to https://joticajulian.github.io/wkoin-claim/
- Insert your secret. You will see the balance to claim.
- Connect your kondor account, the one where you want to receive your koins.
- Click CLAIM KOINS.
Now you can check your new balance in your koinos wallet.
It's important to mention that your secret is always in your browser and never sent to the blockchain. The part that is sent is a signature generated with that secret, because this is actually a private key with an associated address.

For how long will this work?
Hi @eirik thanks for the question. There is no deadline. The contract is already deployed in koinos (with the koins), so it will be there forever waiting the input from the holders to release the koins.
I also created the webpage (to interact with the contract) in github pages (https://joticajulian.github.io/wkoin-claim/). So as long as github don't change their policies about free hosting it will be ok.
