What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Great week this week, we get a nice boost in incoming HP and we're back up to 125k. This is a good spot because this kinda ensures that we can earn over 200 HP each week from curation. We had a couple of down weeks there so fingers crossed we can get back to the grind and starting increasing a little each week and we'll be at 150k before we know it.
The week's curation APY is a respectable 8.54% which is really good considering we are basing that from last week's HP rewards into this week's HP which is 3k higher. The voting power of the account is going sideways so I'll need to re-adjust the voting percentages to get it back to climbing again. My target range for the VP is between 90-95%, why? Because just, thats why. Old habits 😉
We cleared over 200 HIVE which is perfect, 204.95 to be exact. At 45 weeks old and from starting from 50 HP, we're doing ok to 4xing that already. HP has built-in growth so if delegators leave their delegations untouched the incoming HP balance increases by about 3% per year. I see a few vote whores that constantly rebalance back down to 1000HP, actually theres alot.
Each to their own and 1000 is better than 0. Maybe we should give bigger votes to those that delegate 2500+ HP, that would increase curation rewards for sure🤣. We could maybe push it to 300 HP a week.
Minted over 100 EDS this week and shipped them out 3 days back. I am pretty happy with minting this many each week, it's still way more than I had projected at launch. I think my ballpark projection was 150k incoming HP after 2 years which would have been minted 120ish EDS per week and given the project a 20-year lifespan based on its 120k EDS allocation. We've almost done it in half the time.
Round Up
Round up is delegate more HP to @eds-vote and you'll earn more EDS each week. Stack those EDS high never sell them and receive an HIVE income for life each and every Monday. After EDS are harcapped, the APY will moon forever and compound until we consume all the HIVE. Apart from buying overpriced EDS miners from the exchange or EDSD tokens, @eds-vote is the only way to mint EDS without having to hand over hard cash!. All you do is borrow us your HP and you can have it back anytime, and while you're delegated, you'll get EDS tokens. EDS tokens are backed with HIVE, which are selling at 20-30% over peg and pay out for 25+% APY HIVE income.
Kind of a no-brainer really. You cant lose money with EDS unlike 98% of all other HE tokens and you get an ROI paid in liquid HIVE.
