I have a long history with Elrond, long time before they rebranded into MultiversX! Let's say I discovered this gem when it was more like a start-up than a blockchain. The Romanian project had a major rebranding in March 2023, changing to the more appealing MultiversX name.
The rebranding included the Maiar Wallet, which transformed into xPortal. The metamorphosis came with new UI, quests, GameFi, socials, NFT marketplace and many more! Time flies when you're having fun... and I celebrated my first year of xPortal. As they said... my dedication shines throught!
I celebrated one year of growth, achievements and milestones! The most important aspect was reaching the $eGLD target I've set in 2021... staking a total of 20 $eGLD tokens on xPortal.
Maiar had over 1 million users, and the upgrade to xPortal took the wallet to new heights. The launch campaign was glamorous and the early users received the Gritty Summit Chaser NFT. Proud to be one of the 115,000 holders, and very pleased with how the new Dapp works.
The in-wallet staking simplified the system, and I earned 1.4 $eGLD since the xPortal launch. Not as active as on Ethereum, with only 21 transactions in 365 days! The jounrey continues...
The xPortal futuristic look and smooth UI had many new tools integrated in the wallet. The users can access all the MultiversX tools and Dapps with a single tap, mint or buy NFTs, and participate in challenges.
My NFT collection is growing and I like the style. However, makes me wonder why all the characters are pictured from behind! Is there someone following them and creating weird memories? However... this dilemma didn't stop me to add more NFTs on xPortal, holding nine of those beauties!
xPortal daily claims are part of the daily rountine! I failed the 180-days streak and said I will not try again... but I started a new streak! I failed at 132 days in the past, as the time-zone in holiday made me mess up the claims.
Every daily claim brings XP, and I earned 64k experience so far! Claiming XP is a play and I rock at it! Time will tell if I will manage to reach the new set streak target!
Not the biggest user when it comes to xPortal missions, only six completed so far. However, doing much better when it comes to Mistery Boxes. Claimed two so far, with 9,866 XP and 1 Swift Mistery Solver NFT.
