Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: Healed Out!

This week's Battle Mage rule set challenge was Healed Out in which every monster gains the return fire ability at the beginning of the battle...

Healed Out general strategy....

If you want to play this defensively, the only option you've got left is to play ideally Void shield, then you can at least repair this.

Personally I prefer to ignore defense for this ruleset and just go for an all out attack strategy, max damage, so I like BLAST.

And it's also a good rule set to spread out attacks given that triage doesn't work!

Healed Out battle exemplar

The battle below shows Yodin blasting his way to victory. What else would you expect!

Mana and rulesets:

Summoner - Yodin!

  • GRUM - a HARD tank!
  • Tyndill Striker - tank 2 and cheeky sneak
  • Lava Spider - snipe one
  • Serpentine Spy - opportyunity
  • Mantoid - snipe 2
  • Tinderlock - massive attack and Last Stand.

The battle...

  • round 1 - I take out my opponent's weirding warrior, good start!
  • round 2 - I lose my Tinderlock but respond by blasting out the Damphire Stalker, heavy damage card DOWN! I then immediately take out Djin and Shiva. NICE! I finish off the round by blasting out SandWorm
  • round 3 - it's all over, Peaceful Giant goes down!

Final battle analysis

I simply OPd my opponent with superior cards buffed by Yodin. The BLAST was highly significant and really supercharged those snipe, sneak and opportunity attacks!

Heald Out final thoughts...

BLAST IT, BABY!
