Basket of 15 Cryptos as of 14/05/2023
The markets are down this week overall and our basket took a hit of $450. You can see below that I never got around to rebalancing the basket, to be honest, it slipped my mind and I've not thought about XV all week. I will 100% get it done for next week and if I dont, I'll ship 0.10 HIVE per XV token to holders, haha. Ok, now that's on the chain, I must do it. I use the blockchain as my accountability buddy, if I upload something public, I must do it.
We can see above allocations are all over the place. SOL, BNB, AVX and OP are all overallocated and ADA, MATUC and SHIB are all underallocated. Now the markets have been sidewaysish for a few weeks, it's time to rebalance. INJ is still sitting outside the top 50, so I'll likely cull it and replace it with an AI token.
The XV token book value this week is 2.33 HIVE, down from 2.34 last week. Our basket and HIVE moved pretty much in sync the past week with HIVE outperforming it a little. Well, HIVE mooned 20% 3 days ago but it's tanked just as fast and looking at HIVE on weekly candles, it's just flat.
This week being week 54, we are exactly 50% done. If we can see growth over the next 54 weeks the same as these first 54, we'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
Small HIVE loss of 225 HIVE this week, kinda nothing into a basket worth 24k HIVE. I'd guess we'll continue to chop up and down for the next month are so and things will pop off again in June/July.
Round-Up
That's it, we are halfway through our time with XV token. The time does go in fast and in only 54 more weeks, we'll be writing the "Cash Out your XV tokens" post. The thing I like about XV is its USP of having a wrap-up date which gives investors an exit. It's so important to sell and take profits.
