It’ been a few moons!
I have been posting on the @tubcat account however. So I have been on Hive for a little bit. How is everyone going? Are we all happy to be here on Hive?
I’ve missed using my original account. So I decided to hunt down my keys and start posting here again.
For those not following the @tubcat account, which I suspect is many, a lot has been going on in recent months. So my time spent on blockchain type content has been very minimal indeed.
I’m currently writing this post on an iPad while sitting in a camping chair in the living room of a house that I recently purchased in little old Adelaide, my home town here in Australia. My wife and I moved back here almost 2 years ago after selling the business in Melbourne. I’m back as an employee and travelling almost continuously for work, which is a good thing. As a business owner, I could barely afford to feed myself. So it’s nice being able to provide for my wife and I once again. I’ll write more about the experience of failing in business and accepting defeat in future posts.
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks renovating our new house. And it is now ready to move in to properly. So tomorrow the moving trucks arrive and I can finally have this place filled with furniture. But until then, I exist with a camping chair, a blow up mattress, and a well aged bottle of Cab Sav. See evidence below.
I’m not entirely sure how to go about making use of this account again. On the @tubcat account I started getting involved in the @leofinance community which has been great. However I think I can be more diverse with this account once I remove some of my old trash posts that I’m not happy about.
What do you all recommend? Which communities are highly active right now? Are there any good communities for writers out there?

Great to see your name again, it's been a while. Glad you're all settled in to the new place. We have a South Australia community that's worth a look. We pulled together a meetup at The Jade for the first time in forever in July, but not sure if that'll continue, with re-restrictions on the horizon.

Funny you should ask. I was thinking the same thing just today. I still have a few Steem shirts myself. They’re great.

I don't know if hive.blog has a searchy thingi but you can go to peakd's community page and search for writing, that turned up a few for me.
Also seeing @buggedout talking about shirts, I made a hive hoodie. It's not as good as yours though XD
Going to make an inverse version at some stage (red with black accents which I was going to do originally but apparently the character wanted it this way round).
Hope all the furniture moving in goes smoothly and doesn't take too long.

If you meant the design/colour scheme you can use it if you want. And I'll mock up the inverse for you if you like to see if you like the look of it enough to do and if you do want to make red versions I want one of those too ;D
Will your job ease up or is it just one of those jobs?
My job is just insane. I work across a few mines in Victoria so don't get much time off. Things may calm down a bit when/if we can get control over this COVID situation though.
Hopefully I can find a way to get some crypto merch going though. I need to make use of the company that my business once sat within.
Hello you! I wasn't aware that tubcat was you. Not that I know it other than briefly noticing the name.
What sort of writing were you thinking of? There's The Ink Well for creative writing, ie fiction, poetry and probably more. It's supported by either curie or ocd, I don't remember which, off hand.
I’m not sure to be honest. I’ll hopefully get back into photography again soon and there’s tonnes of communities for that. Other than, maybe gaming.
