"IT HURTS TO KNOW WHY"

A thousand of people in my own world yesterday,
I've found someone who raised his hand humbly.
Different personality, different story and ability,
From different direction apart from me.
As we succeeded to the qualifications,
It comes everyone to make decisions.
Starting to create more expectations,
Which along the way gives motivation.
Many semesters had pass somehow,
We can't even forget 'til now.
But then comes a situation God allow,
Even I myself don't know how.
It hurts to know why,
Why tears keep fallin' in mt eye?
Why do I need to cry?
Or do I need to say goodbye?
We are not the same as we used to be,
I felt sometimes you want to flee from me.
Every steps becomes lonely,
And your heart seems to say,
"I want to be free!"
I keep on denying to myself,
To what freedom you insist.
But this freedom for oneself,
Not unto me exist.
It hurts to remember the time,
We've been througg a longtime.
I thought it will be a lifetime,
But still hoping we'll meet sometime.
Whenever we feel alone, remember that there is that One above who knows our worth.
