Steps of making new pocket design on a native dress shirt

How are you all my needleworker, fashionistas, and seamstress here. Hope you are all good .

Today i am going to show you how i made this nee pocket design on the body of Native dress Shirt . I will be displaying how its been made , the fabric that i use to make it, and the measurement of the full dress.

  1. Firstly, i cutout part of the fabric and add stay to it to made it stand hard a little.
  2. I cut the shape of the pocket which has a round shape at the bottom
  3. I cut a slant black fabric to tape round the Hem of the pocket and and pressed well with pressing iron after the taping
  4. I cut out out the shape of the cover pocket , added gumstay with it yo be able stand, lining and tuned.

  • length 3inches
  • Chest 45 inches
  • Under chest 44inches
  • Tommy 45 inches
  • Sleeve 25inches
  • Shoulder 19 inches
  • Armhole 20 inches

Trouser measurement

  • Length 39inches
  • Waist 40 inches
  • Lap 29inches
  • Knee Length 22 inches
  • Knee Circumference 18 inches
  • Base 14 inches
