Winter Melt on the Rivers

in #photography20 days ago

Found these pics from a few weeks ago, as the winter still had its hold.

An old abondoned building, not really sure what it was with that large leantoo on the side.

The rivers were metling overflow and field runoff (hence the brown water) with the warmer spring air.

Lots of ice still, but with the melting overflow, it will break up quickly now.

This old barn always has some owls living in it and I almost always see them fly out, but today, oddly, was the one time I flew by and I didn't see them. Oh well, they must be out hunting in the day for a change.

More rivers routes and melting overflows.

Cruising along the local rail line.

Captured a few shots of my wingmen, down below. Looks so small when up above just a couple hundred feet.

All the animals in the area seems to make tracks to and from this barn. Local pub I guess.

Heading back home after a great flight and out over the massive melting fields now.
