Today's macro about Black Ant

The ant is black. It has two long antennae on the head, and sharp claws in the mouth. The ant's eyeballs are also black. Likewise the body and back of the ant: also black.

I photographed these black ants in the weeds, in our neighborhood. The ant is not alone. There were probably about a dozen in number, but when I pointed my smartphone at the ants, only this ant didn't run away. The ant is actually rubbing the two antennae on the head. Putting claws in mouth and standing in place like a British royal soldier with a long hat on his head.

Here are my flagship photos for this Wednesday. Using an assembled macro lens mounted on a smartphone, I hope these photos of ants find a place in the hearts of visitors to my blog.
