#787 - Malico Pangasinan shots for Sunday.
Happy Sabbath evening dearest Hiveans. It's time to reflect, early today my wife and I went to Pampanga to join the festivity of fiesta of the village where her mother was born. We arrived at the port where we were picked up by a small boat at around nine, then we rode the banca for about thirty minutes and then upon arrival at the house we joined my mother in law's brother and his wife and went to the church of their village. The mass was held in their native tongue and I only got grasps of words spoken in English and some in Filipino but mostly in Kapampangan which I don't understand. The temperature and humidity there is hot, we had to drink lots of water to hydrate and there is also a lot of food being offered because it was a fiesta wherein the whole village is having a party. We left there at five when the sun is no longer hot and arrived home at ten in the evening due to the traffic.
Now moving on to our daily shots we got here some scenes taken when we passed by the Malico Viewpoint in Pangasinan, we got here coming from the province where my parents are living. We went there to visit them while mother is in recovery because of a stroke she got during the beginning of the year. The view here is great because we got s chance to see lots of nature like huge mountains and pine trees, not to mention the cold weather that we experience while passing by.
Then there is also a cafe that is along the zigzag road that's built on the mountain side. The cafe is already getting its fame because it's the only one that there for now with no other competition. The coffee here was great while it's warm but it cools down fast because of the cold temperature. So it's better to jug it in as fast if you wanted the hot temperature of the coffee to be still there.
The next two shots about us while we were waiting for our orders to arrive. We both ordered coffee with different flavors and then some muffins as our merienda. We spent almost an hour here in the cage while enjoying the view.
A shot of me when we stopped by along the zigzag road. You may noticed there is a green net somewhere further away where we are going and that net is for landslides which is prone in mountain areas like this place.
