#787 - Travel Shots for Saturday.

Happy weekend dearest Hiveans. It's Saturday and finally a rest day of my wife too. I wasn't supposed to wake up early but my body clock has been used to waking up early even though I still want to get more sleep. So since we were up early I went to the bakery to buy hot pandesal bread for breakfast. Then at around ten in the morning I then started to wash our week long laundry which jave piled up above our the laundry basket 🧺. I finished washing at around two in the afternoon and there's nothing to do after so we just binged watch Netflix since there's many new arrivals. I recently finished watching crime drama Dexter and there was heartache at the end because he lost her sister and also unable to be with his love and son, it's a bummer. According to the director, the series is no longer going to get another chapter so that seems to be the end pf it plus it's been a decade already. It's worth watching though and sorry for the spoiler at the end.✌️

And now for our daily shots about travel let me share some of the shots we have taken when we went to two different places. These first four images were shot when we were at Baguio going home to the province. We passed by the Ambuklao dam and so we didn't let the opportunity slip to take photos as a remembrance since this could be the one time we passed by this road going to Nueva Vizcaya. The road is zigzagged on mountains surrounding the dam and paved in concrete so it's a great ride using this route except that we have to slow down every few seconds because of the curves both uphill and downhill.

The dam was built on different mountain sides and there are also fish pen on the water. Tilapia is one of the major fish that is being cultured here and there are several stores along the road that offer fresh tilapia as is alive. It was still early and the sun hasn't come out yet, the temperature cold still. I used the jogging pants of my son which has BTS design in it because he doesn't want to wear it so I used it instead.😅

Then after visiting and spending a few days at home in the comfort of our house in the province and seeing my parents and kin and other relatives. We went back home to the metropolitan, we left Quirino province at five in the morning so we can be back before five in the afternoon. It's a long drive about eight hours straight without stop overs and at a cruising speed of 80kms/hr. Bit that wasn't the case, we had to stop at a moment along the road that connects Pangasinan to Vizcaya. There's a cafe there and the view is also great in the cold weather. This is where we had breakfast, just coffee and some muffins.

The view here is also relaxing to the eyes if you take this route instead of the usual AH26 route which is used by buses and trucks and so many other vehicles. Plus the traffic of people in the streets which cost fuel during slow rides. But using this route in Malico is beneficial.

There are no trucks no buses no high numbers of vehicles nor people. Only a few vehicles every minute passes by and there's only those who ride their bikes that are mostly spotted here since it has become a tourists attraction many riders from this province and nearby towns come to this place for photos and experience. That's also the same reason we tried this route. The only cons I can think of is that when something happened to your vehicle there are no houses here so no mechanics at all so be prepared when it happens. One must make sure their rides are in spot on condition when exploring this route just to avoid hassles.
