#788 - Ilocos Norte shots for Tuesday.

A warm greetings dearest Hiveans tonight on a a Tuesday. As usual, the temperature is getting hotter as the midday approach but it's also the same in the evening. The hot temperature never fades. Woke up early as usual and prepared breakfast for my son, boiled some white rice and fried a few brown eggs and then a can of corned beef also. My mother in law was downstairs when I woke up, she said she can't stand the heat in her room. We still have another month of warm summer before we can have a cooler days ahead of us.
Tomorrow is a holiday and also a reunion my mother in law side have been preparing so we will attend together with her older brother and sister. It's going to be a pool side reunion which is great to have since it's the summer, so swimming is one of the activities that can help ease the discomfort and humid feeling.

Now for our daily shots let me share some more of the scenes we took when we visited the northern part of the country where the land area has high winds and that's why they installed a lot of windmills to harvest the energy coming from the wind. The vast areas of mountains and also on the shorelines surroundings the beach area of Bangui is where the windmills are erected.

We came here at dawn coming from Ilocos Sur where we have stayed in for two nights. The first destination we had in our itinerary was the Patapat viaduct which is already near the border of Cagayan Valley which is our region. It's a long drive when we got to the viaduct then we made a turn so we can also visit the windmills.

Lots of the windmills are just standing on the beach area and they are close enough for people to see. The wind here in this beach is strong and also cause the waves of the sea water to be strong as well. The beach here is sandy with lots and lots of large peebles of small stones. Here's two frames wherein we have the wife and her friend posing with some of the windmills in the background. You can also see that there's many more windmills far away including on the mountains. This Bangui town is literally littered with windmills.

Right from the water is a blue deep color which according to the vendors is already deep enough. That's why swimming is not advisable unless you are a great swimmer, the saltwater also has a strong vibes. That is why those who wanted to skinny dip are just right where the sand and water meets.

Majority of the mills we came across are fully operational. Not sure about the others which are too far to recognize if their blades are moving or not. Maintenance of these seems to be challenging too because of the distances between the mills, some are on the beach area while some are on the mountains with great distance of coverage.
