So far in my life, I've had terrible spending habits. I had thoughts about working for a long time. Struggling to find my interests. Having difficulty accepting my reality. And so I spent. A lot of money all the time and didn't have any savings. I spent money in crypto, on games, whatever I felt at the moment would make me feel better. Crypto was my hope that I could get rich quick. But due to my age, I already missed out on that stage. Games were my escape, and I honestly have a spending problem when it comes to that.
So after I took a vacation and spent way too much on a credit card. I had to make a change. Is this how I really want to spend my life? No savings, no effort towards tomorrow, a lot of stress, and on top of that, spending never made me feel much better. For a second, it always did, but I always felt guilty.
I'm no genius, and I don't have any answers. But all of you reading, take a look at how you spend your money and time, and does it reflect potential happiness? Are you happy doing what you're doing? Do you spend like I did, just to be delighted for a moment?
As of this moment, I've taken steps to create a budget and work with the money that I get. I'm investing in multiple avenues to get a well-rounded portfolio. Everything is red, which is about the perfect time to buy in, whether it's the stock market or crypto. Just do your research and do not buy on a feeling.
Are you working today to be happy tomorrow? Are you on the right path? I don't know if I am, but I'm trying. We'll see where that takes me.
