Checking old coins

Hi friends,

We are still cleaning out my grandpas house after his passing and he had a giant jug of coins in the house from years of sticking loose change in it. I figured there had to be a chance of finding some pre 1964 quarters, half dollars and dimes, all of which are partially made of silver.

We pulled out a sample of the jug to check:

My wife, kids and mom helped go through these coins - we found none with silver content :(

At least we can say we gave it a shot. My mom cashed in the coins though and the jug had $394 in change… crazy!

Thanks for coming by,
Brian

At least hang to the older Copper pennies and older nickle nickels.

That's about how many Coins it took to make Coin Man...

Wow, $394 is a lot. If there are a lot of old coins, it would have been nice to check if some collectors would want them instead of just cashing them in.

Wow, Grandpa's coin! It feels so Sense of the age

Wow, what a collection! I can guess where your collecting comes from :)

Wow
Grandpa stacked so many coins
He’s a silver lover

I also wish to have many such special coins one day.

No silver. That’s a pretty good haul almost $400.

Old things carry a lot of memories

Not a single silver coin, but that's a lot of pennies and quarters... $394. crazy!!! That would be a roll of silver quarters ($229.08) a roll of dimes ($102.89), the rest in silver dollars! NEAT!

I bet you found a lot of copper in there though! Those old copper pennies aren't bad to hold to!

I think you have all the coins. In which all the old coins will be found. These should be collected and kept now. Prices may increase in the coming days. Thank you. welcome @brian.rrr

These coins still smells nice in value
