Its been a long road with Splinterlands, lot's of things have happened along the way, both good and great. Ups and downs are normal in life and development, but on this path we haven't been sweating the small stuff, mostly reinvesting and repositioning over time.
We are still bullish on the Splinterlands ecosystem, and what better proof than to show, after a recent power up of 500k SPS, we are now among the rarified camp of three Million SPS staked!
It all started, before there was even a game, with a max alpha 'deck'. The team had dreams, NFTs were still the cool new thing, and it seemed like a fun gamble to help support a fledgling project with cool ideas for the future.
Oh what a ride it has been! Up and down, that one time we went really high up! The airdrops, the sets; the journey is the destination after all. We have a top scholar playing a maxxed deck, and while we don't take the time to calculate APR, it would only be true for a single moment in time anyway, we do enjoy the wins and the prizes that keep us interested.
We have battle wagons, we have land (Pandon Reach!), we have cards and we have LP. We are deep, probably too deep, in this ecosystem now, but it still brings us joy, so we stick with it, excited by every update - especially excited every time we get a chance to spend vouchers.
So it seemed to us, that we are getting ready for the next cycle. It could be a good one, it could be the best one yet. There is no crystal ball, only probabilities, hard work and positioning. Everything is a risk and nothing is guaranteed. But we think SPS at 1.3 cents is what they call an 'asymmetric play". So we powered more of it up.
3 million is not nothing. Its also not the top stack in the game. Sure it could go lower, maybe we'll power up a bit more - time will tell and we will take each day as it comes. Supporting, speculating, enjoying - playing and participating (and positioning).
