It's amazing how tournaments hone your skills though. You get ideas from your rivals like the Grandmaster Rathe above. When I first played golf one of the elderly guys told me you don't really start getting really good until you start playing tournaments because it concentrates the mind. He was right and it is the same for Splinterlands. The level is just that bit better. In ranked battles the competition is good but in tournaments people bring their A game.
