Proposed Guild Structure and Updates for PeakMonsters - All 1

in #splinterlands3 years ago

Splinterlands is a different kind of game. With it's unique asset ownership and game play it represents a new type of environment for the gamers who enjoy it. The guild system in this game will evolve into something much more than what it previously was in the old days. Now instead of just coordination and administrative duties a guild will be a means through which real money will flow to the players. As such, the structure and idea of a gaming guild needs to evolve from what it once was and figure out how it should be.

The main benefit of the Brawling style guild is rewards that will be convertible to DEC through burning as it stands now and the anticipated SPS earnings for various achievements in the arena. Each player benefits individually and the guild collectively benefits if we rank atop the scoring charts consistently. With that in mind I've fashioned my roster openings in anticipation of the guild being able to upgrade to 2 Star brawling within the next few weeks after the upgrade of the Arena (17 more Crowns required). Current members who are able and willing would be able to move up in guild ranks if they upgrade their owned or rented accounts whenever a spot is available.

2 Star Fray Schedule / Roster Spots

1 – Novice League, Untamed Only

Total Novice League Roster Spots – 3 (All rarities Level 1)

2 – Bronze League, all cards playable

Total Bronze League Roster Spots – 5 (Common:3 / Rare:2 / Epic:2 / Legendary:1)

2 – Silver League, all cards playable

Total Silver League Roster Spots – 5 (Common:5 / Rare:4 / Epic:3 / Legendary:2)

Total Gold League Roster Spots – 3 (Common:8 / Rare:6 / Epic:5 / Legendary:3)

1 – GFO Bronze League, Untamed & Dice only
1 – GFO Silver League, all cards playable
1 – GFO Silver League, Untamed & Dice Only

Total GF League Roster Spots – 5 (Gold Foil only collections can be used)

21 Total Roster Spots for the Various leagues. Cards can be owned or rented via Peakmonsters.com the participation and success in the frays is the focus. One roster spot will be held by the Peakmonsters Market account which may or may not participate in any activities.

One roster spot will be dedicated to a Land & Resource Management account which will manage all things rental and Praetoria land expansion market strategy. This account will need to be capable of filling in brawls if called upon.

If brawlers don't get placed in a brawl during one cycle they will get first choice at their league during the next cycle.

It will take approximately 500,000 DEC which is around $2,000 at current prices ($0.0045) to upgrade the guild Hall infrastructure to reach Tier 8 brawling capabilities which I propose be a minor goal with some small but regular contribution being made to the DEC investments.

There will be a regular stipend of DEC provided by the Peakmonsters market account and once most roster spots are filled up with active participants the guild gets to vote on the percentage of this going to three different categories; Rental fund, Guild Hall Upgrades, Barracks / Arena upgrades .

Until the time when the guild members hold the vote to decide the first initial allotment of resources the funds will be held by the General or PM market account and then distributed accordingly after the votes are tallied.

It will take 50,000 DEC and 250 merits to upgrade the Arena the first time and ultimately the prices will likely be similar to that of the Guild Hall. Slow and steady contribution to upgrade of buildings by guild members will speed the development and growth of the guild but it could also be done over a longer time via PM Market's contributions only. Ultimately the guild members will get to decide.

Other specialties such as media capabilities, instructional media content and communications with guild members to teach and discuss strategies and collection building tactics will be highly valued in selection of future guild members.

As the game expands and grows into even more of a Juggernaut than it already has it will create more and more opportunity for Splinterlands media content. Someone who enjoys writing and creating video will be a huge asset. Things like entering the weekly Share Your Battle, Social Media Challenge, Art Contest, etc. representing the entire guild is a bigger picture vision. As player SPS staking comes out imagine having the most popular Splinterlands media channels or blog to boost our guild members earnings and provide investors an outlet to be involved and profit from the game.
