Improved by How Much?
So you know how you can check the DEC Reward Pool here? Basically that API will now increase by approximately 274000 DEC (100M/365 days) per day. So the pool currently shows 3.2m, so once the changes hit, expect to earn approximately 8.5% more DEC!
What Happens Now?
Well, we wait for March 17 for the update to see how it actually looks upon rollout, but this is definitely good news and an extra incentive to start playing those ranked battles.
Unfortunately...
This means that a lot of the now defunct bots will come back. I know a few users that stopped with their bots because it wasn't earning them anything, but now they plan to bring back their bot army. If a lot of the other botters have that mentality, then I'm afraid that there might not be an improvement to how much the average player will be able to earn.

great news
It's great news but I wonder if an 8.5% increase is enough for them to bring back the bots. I don't really think it's that big of an increase and I wonder if the rental prices will go up.

Only time can tell! I hope it's not enough for an increase in bots, but there's very little effort to botting so I won't be surprised.
