Greetings Steemians!
We are happy to announce a new website, steemscape.com. Our mission is to give you useful information about your Steem account, and provide tools to help you grow its value.
We are have launched with a small feature set, but we have lots of exciting ideas that we plan to release over the coming months. We will post regular updates to our Steemit blog to keep you informed. We aim to be responsive, so we will be paying close attention to user feedback. Please try it out and tell us know what you think!
Feature: Dashboard
The dashboard gives you the important information about your account at a glance. This includes:
- Basic account info: username, number of posts, reputation, date created.
- Your current voting power as a percentage. If your voting power less than 100%, the component will show the time remaining before your VP regenerates completely. If your voting power is at 100%, the component will show how much time has passed since your VP regenerated.
- Wallet balances for Steem, SBD, savings and Steem Power.
- Recent price history for Steem and SBD.
Feature: Content View
The content view allows you to drill down into your blog posts to see how they generate value. For each blog post, the following information is available:
- High level stats: number of votes, replies, resteems.
- Breakdown of the value of individual votes on your blog posts.
- Vote stats: time after blog post, percentage, weight, rshares.
- Expandable view of post content.
Why do I need this?
The most compelling features right now are the dashboard and vote value breakdown for blog posts. We plan to expand these so that the site becomes more and more useful over time. We are really interested in doing analytics on the Steem blockchain that will provide insights far beyond what is available on sites like steemit.com and steemd.com. Watch this space!
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy! Steemscape uses SteemConnect to authenticate users. Just click on the "Log in to Steemscape" button on the front page at steemscape.com. You will then be redirected to SteemConnect and asked if you would like to grant offline access to the Steemscape application. If you don't have a SteemConnect account, or you aren't logged in, then you will be asked to log in to SteemConnect using the same credentials you use for Steemit. Once you have logged in to SteemConnect then you will be redirected to the Steemscape dashboard. That's it! You will need to re-authenticate with SteemConnect every week, but if you are logged in to SteemConnect already then the process is simple - you just have to accept the permissions that Steemscape is asking for.
Bug Reports and Feature Requests
We have tested the Steemscape site across a number of browsers and devices, but some bugs might have slipped through. Also, we hope that the Steem community can help us by suggesting enhancements and new features. Is there any information about your Steem account that would be useful to know? Are there any features of Steemscape that you think could be improved? Have you encountered any problems using the site? Please let us know in the comments below!
It would be nice to see post views. Even if that can be gamed it would be nice to get an idea of how many people have stopped by and shouldnt be hard to add.

Hi @gniksivart! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure if post views are available through the API, but if they are then we will definitely add them.
This should add value to the STEEM ecosystem as a whole.
I think you need to study more steem world ... to be better... for example....rhe voting power now is just a B.S. indicator after the last fork and after making the R.C. is the fucking fatal shit controller of our accounts... so first thing add this RC to reach some proficiency

Hi @red-rose. We hear you! We are planning to add a resource credits view soon, once we have figured a good way to visualize them. Do you have any ideas for a good way to represent them on screen?
THANK YOU... the RC FIGURE should be just a bold BIG number ... In the center of the screen and please remove the voting power speedo meter ..and replace it by bold numbwr...we are not kids riding bicks..
I do not know... I have so many things but I am in hospital so I can not type mire... please check the 2 famous supporting sites to steemit the seem world and the seem supply...both are having all what we need

Yes. .sp growth chart is missing in all the user interafces..would be nice to have that. .

Hi @wehmoen, we request offline access so that our login tokens stay valid for longer. For example, if you bookmark the dashboard page you will only be redirected to SteemConnect once a week. The full list of SteemConnect permissions is here.
So this is going to be the same as steemworld but with a different layout? If you are just reading the info of the account then why the steemconnect access?

Hi @felander. In the initial release there is a lot of overlap with the Steemworld feature set, but as time goes on we plan to focus more on analytics not available through the Steem API. We use SteemConnect so that we can add features in the future that make use of SteemConnect roles.

I like being able to see the charts for SBD and STEEM, but my reputation is not 366.
Thanks for your feedback @indigoocean. We will look into the reputation issue. One feature we could add is to have much more detailed price charts in a separate page. Is this something you would be interested in? If so, what kind of price charting features would you like to see?
I personally wouldn't look at anything more on a separate page. The benefit is seeing the charts while I'm looking at things I more regularly pay attention to like VP.

Mobile App?
Hi @bitronprime! We have tested the site to make sure it works on mobile. Having a custom mobile app is a longer term feature, but we will keep in mind thanks.
Hi guys, I understand. Developing an app from scratch is a long term endavor. Keep in mind if you built your site on a wordpress, joomla, drupal or magento platform there are way cheaper faster ways to get an app up and running in less than a week. Let me know if you need some help.....namaste
