Many people want to be great but don't want to submit to anyone and learn from them. Unless you first submit yourself for someone to coach you, you will never know anything.

Until you have served someone else you will not be served. Until you have learnt to humble yourself you will not be lifted or promoted. For us to become what we wish or desire to be in life there the need for us to first submit to human coaching.
Some people feel they can be on their own and can still be what they aspire or wish to be and they will not go to others for coaching. Such folks end up making silly mistakes in life.
Every knowledge, experience, wisdom and expertise we will require or will need to help us in this life has already been given by God to men. All we need is to look for the right people who possesses what we need and seek for their guidance, counselling and coaching.
Things don't just happen to people for no reason. They are lessons for others to learn from and to avoid any costly mistake. The bible is a great book filled with real life stories about people who made great mistakes and regretted so much. All those stories were not recorded for recording sake but for us to learn from and live right.
There are spiritual knowledge, experiential knowledge and intellectual knowledge. Spiritual knowledge is given by the spirit of God, experiential knowledge is the a kind of knowledge gained from life experiences and intellectual knowledge is the kind of knowledge we acquire from books or in school.
You don't Know It All
Seek Help From The Holy Spirit or From Someone who is More Spiritual Than You
We should not be "Mr. or Madam know it all" for no one is repertoire of all knowledge. If there is need for you to get spiritual knowledge seek the help of the Holy Spirit as you pray and meditate or from someone who is more spiritual than you.
Go to the One Who is More Experienced
If you need experiencial knowledge go to someone who is more experience than you to help you out.
Seek Help From An Expert
If you need knowledge about certain areas where you not an expert look for an intellectual person who is specialised in that area to help you out.
You shouldn't be so arrogant and pretend to know it all when you are actually ignorant or naive. Sometimes you need to swallow your pride and tell someone you don't know so they can help you before you make wrong moves.

The Lord told us to ask, seek, knock and we will find what we want. Christians needs to do away with arrogant behaviours to acquire the knowledge and truth we seek in Him.
If we don't feel arrogant to ask , we will always get the right knowledge.
It is true brother, as long as we do not kill the old man in us, Jesus Christ can not glorify himself and we will hardly show the love of God.
We learn to summit to others and from them, arrogant only lead to destruction

This is nothing other than the disposition of a heart to be enmeshed, what happens is that the ego of man prevents us from climbing to better levels, but it is possible with the help of the Holy Spirit of God. None of us should believe that we are complete and we should be open to learn new things from God, as well as in any area of our lives.
