'Tang Seng Chua', Saenphudad branch, one of the most spectacular shops for 'Khanom Pia' - Part II

in #travellast month

As mentioned in my previous post, “Khanom Pia” or Chinese Pastry Mooncake is one of my favorite desserts.

The “Khanom Pia” at 'Tang Seng Chua' is famous for its yummy taste and all packages are excellent with bright red and golden colors. These are especially great for souvenirs purposes.

There are various kinds of “Khanom Pia” with different fillings; such as mocha, chocolate, grapes, durian, etc.

The taste and quality of the “Khanom Pia” is unique. It is widely liked by customers.

No doubt, we bought many of them back home. All are really delicious.

Outside and inside the 'Tang Seng Chua' shop is decorated beautifully with Christmas Trees to celebrate the Christmas and New Year season.

Watching my dear mom with her sweet smile in front of the Christmas trees made me have a wide smile as well….

In addition to the souvenir shop, there is also a cafe section and they arrange space for activities such as making workshops for “Khanom Pia”, etc.

And there is a museum that replicates Kong’s wooden house (Kong is Chinese language means Grandfather) in proportions similar to the original and displays the story of Kong, named Hok Sae Tang, the owner of the original branch at Bang Khla.

The house is in simple style, but looks comfortable and beautiful.

You will see my mom smiling in front of the house as well.

The surrounding atmosphere is good, I enjoyed taking photos at almost every corner.

You may notice my shadow somewhere in ones of the photos….

The arts and architecture are all impressive.

I can say that apart from delicious Khanom Pia, you shall be happy admiring these things as well.
