Hello everyone,

The WAFRO MEDIA TEAM is back at it again with a very interesting dance video for your viewing pleasure. We present you a very unique dance group known as the ATILOGWU DANCE TROOP of SOUTH EAST NIGERIA.

ATILOGWU is from the Igbo ethnic tribe of Nigeria. It is known to be a traditional spirited dances which involves acrobatics and strenuous body movements.

The meaning of Atilogwu is 'has magic'. This is the name given because the youth you perform the dance did it with ease and finesse.

The dance is performed during traditional festivities.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Awesome performance. As kids we formed dance groups to perform at our very own end of year celebration. And We performed Atilogwu dance. Funtimes

It really is a beautiful culture

The beat calls out to every Igbo (like me) to exert strength and energy.
