Greetings friends who love handicrafts! Welcome once again to my DC DIY Workshop. Today I would like to share with you an art exhibition that I visited and was delighted with the subtlety and yet complexity of the artist in presenting his pieces. Join me to see these beautiful works of art.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit San Felipe, in Yaracuy. I loved this place because they offer to the locals and visitors a whole cultural complex composed of a Theater, Museum, Library, space where young people gather to sing and preserves part of the historic center. I think this is something to admire in the town.
While visiting the Carmelo Fernandez MUCAF Museum, the guide told us that there was an explosion open to the public in room 4. Formas encontradas is the name of this wonderful collection of pieces by the master Al Venegas.
Upon entering I found it to be very elegant. In white background and with the outline of each piece so as not to lose detail. The master uses to give life to these forms, natural materials such as sand in different tones, stones, wire, fabric and MDF. With this he achieves the complex and at the same time simple union of the elements that are the essence of his work.

What I liked most about this explosion is that it has pieces from different years. There is a sequence from 2023 as well as from 2012. Then I did some research and it turns out that Formas encontradas is a compilation of pieces that the artist discarded from his previous collections. This is fascinating.
All the way through room 4 of the museum, I was wondering what each of those abstract forms represented. I was with some friends and we could tell that everyone was seeing something different. This was fun and we were able to have a nice time.
I loved the collection's textures, materials, 2-D and 3-D designs and everything my mind could imagine with the same shape. My favorite was a large sculpture that was in the middle of the room, it was in 3 dimensions and looked like an ancient totem to me.

Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi Taller Bricolaje DC. Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes una exposición de arte que visité y que quedé encantada con la sutileza y al a vez complejidad del artista al presentar sus piezas. Acompáñenme a ver estas hermosas obras de arte.
Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de visitar San Felipe, en Yaracuy. Este lugar me encantó porque le ofrecen a los lugareños y visitantes todo un complejo cultural compuesto de un Teatro, Museo, Biblioteca, espacio donde los jovenes se reúnen a cantar y conserva parte del casco histórico. Esto me parece de admirar en la población.
Mientras visitaba el Museo Carmelo Fernández MUCAF, el guía nos indicó que había una explosión abierta al público en la sala 4. Formas encontradas es el nombre de esta maravillosa colección de piezas del maestro Al Venegas.
Al entrar me pareció muy elegante. En fondo blanco y con la reseña de cada pieza para no perder detalle. El maestro utiliza para dar vida a estas formas, materiales naturales como arena en diferentes tonos, piedras, alambre, tela y MDF. Con esto logra la unión compleja y al mismo tiempo sencilla de los elementos que son la esencia de su obra.
Lo que más me gustó de esta explosión es que tiene piezas de diferentes años. Lo mismo hay una secuencia del 2023 como del 2012. Entonces investigué y resulta que Formas encontradas es una recopilación de piezas que el artista desechó de sus colecciones anteriores. Esto es fascinante.

Durante todo el recorrido por la sala 4 del Museo, estuve preguntándome que representaba cada una de aquellas formas abstractas. Estaba con unos amigos y pudimos notar que cada uno veía algo diferente. Esto fue divertido y pudimos pasar un momento agradable.
Me encantó de la colección las texturas, los materiales, los diseños en 2 y 3 dimensiones y todo lo que mi mente pudo imaginar con una misma forma. Mi favorita era una gran escultura que estaba en el medio del salón, era en 3 dimensiones y me pareció un totem antiguo.
Para mi es un gusto poder compartir esta exposición con ustedes. Los invito, si visitan Yaracuy en Venezuela, pasen por el museo y se deleiten con esta bella exposición de alto nivel artístico. Nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad. Chao!
